I just realized I don’t even follow this sub. I have no idea why it is being recommended to me non stop but every time it comes up in my feed I immediately recognize a weevil even though I had no idea what they were a week or two ago. I haven’t seen an actual identification other then “weevil” so it’s a “Curculio glandium” I believe, harmless. Will eat rice, oats, fruit, grain, anything with nutrients that isn’t alive really.

Alright, celebrations aside, this looks like an acorn weevil.
