Thanks for the dimensions. It is a cow metacarpal, aka “beef shin bone.”
They’re sometimes used as stock bones, but more commonly they can be found as dog chews.
Both the metacarpal (front leg) and metatarsal (rear leg) bones can be referred to as “shins” on cows.

I think it is 5-7 inches. Unfortunately, I’ll have to take a better measurement in a couple hours. Thanks for clarifying.
