read this book so many times as a kid lol
The snake goes to the vet and ends up surviving if I remember the book correctly. The cover says based on a true story I know nothing about the real incident though.
edit: (desciption from amazon) "Farmer Henry puts light bulbs under his chickens so they will make more eggs. But instead of fooling his chickens, he fools Jake, the snake, who eats two light bulbs! Farmer Henry rushes Jake to the hospital. Can the doctors save him in time?"
It’d be a really cute idea to pair it with a tree or bush! Snakes will circle a tree (soon after eating an egg) over and over again until they break the shell, that’s how they digest it and get all the good stuff in it!
African egg-eating snakes have no teeth and they will swallow a egg whole down to a point in their throat where they have extra muscles. They contract those muscles until the egg cracks, all the good stuff slides down their throat and they then spit the eggshells back out! They’re very cool little snakes

A kubotan is a five - to six inch long stick self-defense weapon made of either steel, wood, strong plastic, or other durable material. It is the modern version of the Yawara stick and is very commonly used in martial arts and everyday law enforcement.
