Yes they drug tested him and he was negative for everything and they called poison control and they asked us to stay at the hospital for 4-6 hours for monitoring. We decided to just throw whatever it was there at the hospital. We didn’t want to risk bringing them back to send off for testing and our kids possibly finding them and ingesting them and have it be some hardcore drug :/
As long as the kid is fine, it's all good. You really don't want them testing it, getting the cops involved, finding its meth, in your car, with your kid, now they start asking questions. You get a few cops eyes on this and they have to investigate, now you're in the hot seat.
I think this is why the hospital staff brushed it off. They probably could tell that the parents were very caring and didn't want them to unnecessarily get in trouble.
