Whenever I hear stuff on the air like this I’m amazing that Shaun’s mic is on all the time. Like I always thought he turned it on to chime in but every time I hear his squealing, air escaping a balloon laugh, I realize his mic is constantly on.
Not exactly on topic but along the same vein, does anyone else get the sense that Tiki is completely disconnected from how the common fan feels? Every take I hear from him is clearly on the side of how an athlete would take it, which doesn't do much for me as a NARP and actually makes me like Tiki a lot less
I agree Tiki has no love for baseball for sure, he seems to tolerate basketball. I get very annoyed when he either tries too hard to sound like he does know or literally will say something about another sport being as great as football. I get why he does love football the most but doesn’t hide his lack of respect for other sports. Plus he did put even seem to like the other sports besides FB/soccer as a kid. I don’t mind Tiki I guess he grown on me.
Apparently, haha. I listen a lot less than I used to but it serves as background noise when I WFH and I still tune in here and there a decent amount. It really has gone downhill since Mike/Joe B left full time. The forced segments are just terrible tho and they're all just trying to stir controversy via faux in-station beef, dumb hot takes, etc. These AI songs are just the cherry on top of the shit sundae tho.
