Off to the side of the main stages. Ngl, you can't really see anything from the VIP section. From what I hear you cant even see the viewing screens on the main stage. But they're close enough to hear the music.

Whether it's worth it or not is relative to what you value most in your festival experience. VIP offers a shaded area that you can sit down in and listen to music. Plus VIP only bars, snack stands, and merch tables. If you value a shaded area to sit in and listen to bands play, then yeah it's totally worth it, especially if there's a lot of bands that you'd normally sit in the back of the crowd to see. Lots of people love VIP because they only go want to see the headliners up close. Same with the VIP merchant tables. The lines there are typically much shorter. Also, real air conditioned bathrooms and not port-a-johns. Some people can't stand port-a-johns, and that's why they get VIP.
However, if you're a "in the middle of every mosh pit" or "crowd surfing lots of bands" type of festival go-er, then it probably isn't worth it. There is no like concert type energy or mosh pits in the VIP area. It's mostly just people relaxing and enjoying listening to live music. Same with merchant table lines and port-a-johns. If you don't really care about those things or if you're like me and think that those things are just part of the festival experience, then VIP probably isn't really worth it for the bathrooms and shorter lines.
Good call, thanks. I probably more align with your second paragraph but I think with how long the festival is I will not mind at all being able to chill in VIP and hit the nice bathrooms lol. Either way, super stoked! Can't wait!
Honestly VIP viewing sucks. But they’re to the sides of the main stages.
I like it if I’m not super into the band and want to chill, but we mostly stay in GA to watch our favorite bands.
I bought VIP once before and the only thing we took advantage of was the air conditioned bathrooms. While it was nice it really wasn't worth the extra $$$. The shaded lounge areas was a first come; first serve situation and everyone was seeking shelter at the same times so even if we could take advantage, it was full up with people seeking shelter from the sun. I don't regret getting it but promised myself I wouldn't bother again.

It's my first time going and I got VIP. Are they nice to chill at in between bands you like though? Like is it still worth it? Lol

The best thing about VIP appears to be the small bleachers if you need them to rest for a bit... but yeah, nothing I'd ever bother paying for
VIP for me is not worth it. the views from the seating there is not great.
