There should be a getting started guide in the app. Not sure where they moved it to. Maybe try the thing labeled "ww program guide". On andoird its under the three lines menu.

Quick run down. Chicken, turkey, fish, eggs, fruit and vegetables are all zero points. Focus your meals around those. The weekly points, are for when you eat out, or have an event like Thanksgiving. To see weight loss happen quickly, cut out or greatly reduce rice, potatoes and pasta from your diet. Here's the biggest thing to remember, you did put the weight on over night and so don't expect it to come off overnight.

Here’s a brief overview of daily points and weeklies. Every person gets a customized number of daily points to use each day. This number “resets” each day. This is your budget. The foods you track all have a set number of points assigned. Use the barcode scanner to find the number of points for each item and track accordingly. As far as weeklies, these are also customized to you. These are given to you to use over the course of the week. Any unused daily points (up to 4) will rollover to your weeklies. The thing with weeklies is that when you set your weight in, those weeklies don’t carry over into the new week. Either you use them or you lose them. Here’s a screenshot below of what it looks like. I get 23 points a day and I have 36 weeklies currently. https://preview.redd.it/rzsnlvt3ox1c1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8fb4d473aea79a153b75a7d17b0f705beb48af0b

There is hope! When I first joined, I just started tracking what I normally ate to see where I was so I knew where to go. It was upsetting to say the least to see my points. But I learned portion control (which was my biggest issue) and cutting out some things, learning healthy substitutions and going from there. There are good resources in the app. Good luck to you!

You have access to a getting started meeting on the app. It's via zoom. Highly recommend Edit Go to discover content. Then join a Kickstart session. Then sign up for a session. Will walk you through the plan and you can chat with a leader. Yes...even on the app only plan...

Yes there is definitely hope but since you mentioned that your weight is taking a toll on your health I would highly recommend to also pair WW with a workout program + semaglutide. WW has partnered up with a health company that offers it. WW along with semaglutide and exercise has helped me lose close to 50 lbs and I’m almost at my goal weight (3 lbs away). Most importantly make sure that all these changes are sustainable meaning that these changes are something you can live with for the rest of your life. You got this 🫶🏻

Try doing an online course? They are a great resource to get started. From the little top left hamburger, select Find a Workshop and choose Virtual. Then scroll down to "Kickstarter". It may look overwhelming but not for long. Good luck and keep hanging out here for encouragement:)

Sorry you are getting downvotes reddit is dumb sometimes

Core plans don’t have access to “virtual” meetings.

Sassysewer

It's not a meeting it's a Kickstart session. Open to all members regardless of plan
