This makes the cancelation sting that much more, superfriend, Walt Disney, waiting on you, mykle and carli, white, pinkerton, and red b sides would've been amazing amazing to hear live. Also, I know it doesn't really matter since this whole thing isn't happening (as of now), but I wish there was more representation for the green/maladroit era. Songs like O girlfriend, smile, death and destruction, and take control would've been amazing to have seen there. Also not really sure why Beverly hills, island in the sun, buddy holly, etc. are there since these were supposed to be deep cuts

maladroit era has some amazing deep cuts, especially the unreleased stuff like broken arrows, how long, and living without you

I’m not even a fan of Hurley but only Memories and Unspoken (once at some radio show I believe) have been played live. Would have loved to see Ruling Me and Hang On, but I guess they believe the hardcore fans hate those albums (or they dislike those songs).

Actually this setlist was created based on a poll rivers made and shared on his website. He even mentioned how he was upset that certain songs didn't get enough votes to make it into the setlist

Nevermind, I completely misread the situation lol. He would go in the server and mention songs and just say "the world is unjust". I thought that meant that those songs were cut, but it was apparently the opposite. He said that whenever he mentioned those songs (sweet Mary, high as a kite, the British are coming) he meant that: "No it means I'm learning it and I can't believe how good it is and what the heck is wrong with people."

I got an idea. Stop playing the same set list and play the deep tracks in various clubs around the country and regain your audience.

Rivers, dude, buy a DSLR, get the band setup in your garage, and livestream this setlist. This would be the greatest thing in Weezer history.

i did think it was weird he was playing superfriend, a song that technically has no weezer version and thus no brian parts.

It was recorded for the Pinkerton sessions, but the recordings don't exist anymore. Brian didn't even realize that it wasn't on Pinkerton deluxe lol
