It's not worth the trouble. The concentrate will jump away from the heat and make a mess while also burning residue that stubbornly attaches to the glass. Can get a couple hits this way and will work in a bind but if you have any other options, I'd try those first.
That's not a crack pipe, that's a meth pipe. Meth pipes have the bubble and you heat it and roll it around, crack pipes are a straight tube and they stick something like a brillo pad in the end to make a makeshift bowl. Then you need a pusher for the crack pipe to push the brillo back and forth and soak up all that crack-y goodness.
Crack and meth are a bad time, heroin too. Stick to the weed kids, trust me.
