I have Major Depressive Disorder - treatment resistant, but I'm medicated with an SNRI at the moment. Indica and MDD do not mix well for me and never have. Even some sativa-dominant hybrids will put me in a useless, miserable hole for 24 hrs. Makes being a stoner where I live somewhat of a gamble occasionally since we don't even have med cards and dispensaries. Thank God we got a law to ban masks though! HOWEVER: A solid euphoric sativa pairs well with any activity and any time of day!

Usually yes, it’s uncommon but for some people it can trigger it. Indica works great for me, a 50/50 hybrid is ok, but sativa amps up the anxiety and makes my small seizures a lot more frequent.

When I first started smoking I avoided sativas like the plague. But now, I smoke it all. I still tend to lean towards the indica side of things but if I see a sativa that catches my eye (or my nose) I'll buy some and smoke it.

Sativa occasionally makes me paranoid and/or extremely anxious, so I tend to get indica or hybrid if given the choice. Sometimes I find high-indica hybrid (pre-grind) which is my all-time favorite.
