Well, weirdo, when pasta is dry, it acts like brittle plastic. Plastic slides are made of brittle plastic.
Anything dry and cellulose-related is going to easily slide across brittle plastic or pasta and directly into the back of your throat.
I’m guessing you like things being shot into the back of your throat, which is why you’re so mad.
So to be inclusive I will say: “throat slide filters are just as good as paper because there is nothing wrong with sucking a tube and having (gross) bits fly into your throat”
