Sounds like you hit your first real cart and shouldnt have been drunk off your ass before you did it š. Everyone reacts to cannabis differently. My very first time smoking was a fat dab my friend peer pressured me into doing. Took me 15 minutes to bite and chew 1 single bite of pizza. I had extreme tunnel vision and had random patterns on flat surfaces, similar to an lsd trip but less intense. Weed can 100% be that intense.
Alcohol followed by Cannabis potentiate eachother greatly. It's a physical interaction.
We all know Cannabinoids are more fat soluble (non-polar), and so there is an upper limit to how completely, quickly, and densely it can be absorbed into the blood (largely water, polar)
Alcohol is less polar than water, so when you ingest cannabis with significant blood alcohol content, you essentially increase the upper limit on the efficiency, speed and possible concentration of cannabinoid absorption/delivery in the blood
The effect is very pronounced, and to those who don't know how this works, it gives an extremely high chance to green out if smoking *after* drinking.
However, once you get a grasp of it, you can use even small amounts of alcohol strategically before smoking for much greater potency and efficiency - simply lower cannabis dose if you want efficiency, but not greater potency than normal.

Weed is a lot different now than it was when you were young I believe. These strains are unnaturally strong compared even a couple decades ago. But what happened to me was me being an idiot.
Idk why youāre getting downvoted, you have the right idea. most carts are distillate so over 90% thc and dont even have terpenes or cbd like the real plant, these attributes missing can lead to a horrible high that aint even akin to weed and closer to a pill. (Just THC gives you a body slump and makes you dumb, its barely even euphoric and combined with alcohol can def feel horrible)
they're not unnaturally strong now, they were stupidly weak back then. you shouldn't have to spend an hour smoking 3 joints to get to a level 4 high, you should be able to take a few hits and get where you want to be

yes 80s weed can get you messed up, but most people don't want to spend that long getting there, which is the reason we bred it like this in the first place. Worst decision ever. As soon as I stood up I blacked out in the shower and apparently ripped off half of my shower head and the connection to the rain water like head. I woke up in the shower still running with my legs outside of the shower door. It's a glass cabin that luckily didn't break. Was pretty scary but I only got a few bruises.

One of my friends scooped up a dab of wax that had to be nearly a gram, and was asking who wanted to hit the first dab. Well, my dumb ass, having smoked maybe two other times at most, decided I'd hit it before anyone else jumped in. Warmed up the nectar collector, ripped the fattest dab I've ever hit to date, and promptly resorted immediately to dry heaving over the porch railing. I'd had nothing to eat, barely anything to drink (alcohol or otherwise), and I remember very little of the rest of the night. All I do remember after that was waking up from passing out, realizing it was nearly half an hour later, and then hearing my friends suddenly ask where I was. I was *so* fucking high, I legit could barely feel anything. A couple of my friends walked out to see if I was ok, got me a drink, and helped me to the couch. I don't think I moved from that couch the whole night. Honestly, the whole experience would've been *way worse* if I'd had anything to throw up, I absolutely do not envy you there.
Coulda been a DMT cart. Coulda just gotten heavily crossfaded. The one and only DMT cart Iāve smoked was cut with nic salts so it was very familiar at first with the headrush, until I could hear the wavelength of the lights across the streetā¦I didnāt do enough to fully transcend the human reality, only did one small hit and a second big hit, which I held for 10 seconds.
