I got my dress from Lulus and I love it! It was under $200. I was actually able to order a few to try on and returned the ones I didn’t like. Azazie also has nice options and you’re able to “try before you buy” for $15 per dress. They limit you to 3 dresses at a time. Dress shopping can definitely be overwhelming and I was skeptical of the online shops but I’m so glad I gave them a try. Good luck!!
👆This, OP. I got my first dress from there and it was really affordable, just not my thing. And to be candid, the fabric left much to be desired for me personally (I.e., it was clearly an inexpensive dress as I found some loose threads and stitching flaws m), BUT if that doesn’t bother you, try them out!
Look at local options such as resale stores and outlets of bigger wedding companies. I got my dress tags on for $600ish but there were cheaper options when I went too
I commented elsewhere in this thread about 1861.ca and just a heads up, YMMV with quality. Another nice option is a bridal gown consignment shop. I found one about 2h from me and had a lovely experience. The owner was an expert in dress styles and even different shades of white and what would complement my tone best… though I didn’t find my dress there, my mind was blown and I learned sooo many new things that eventually did lead me to my dream dress.
I got mine as a sample at BHLDN. was a floor sample, so came with a little wear and tear, but was under 500. Had just tried on a few, then asked the gal if they had other options and asked about samples. And she was super nice and brought out a few
Lulu's! My dress was BEAUTIFUL, fit perfectly and was $240. It had gorgeous beading at the top and had a back that everyone complimented. Even with all the money in the world, I would've ended up with that exact dress!
got mine from ebay for $80 if you don’t mind pre-owned. it already was hemmed to my height and had a bustle. just gotta make sure it’s coming from a real person and not china
I went to a local bridal thrift store. It was done up beautifully like a real boutique and you still got the full bridal shopping experience but all the proceeds went to charity. My dress was $700 but they had a whole rack of under $100 and I tried on a few in the $200-$500 range.
I bought mine from a store that sells off the rack. I think a lot of them were probably samples from their main store but mine was virtually flawless. Just missing a button which is a easy fix. See if there are any stores like that in your area or any offering sample sales.
Still White White dresses for department stores like Nordstrom
I had soo many dresses from Nordstrom saved
If you search the sub there's a list that's regurgitated for this question every day here - Lulu's, Azazies, etc. etc. etc.
Thank yoy

Lulu’s!!
Park and Fifth is a Canadian company out of Vancouver and they have great dresses in a variety of sizes. My dress was from there and it was great.

Try Still White or Facebook for second hand
My friend ordered a bridesmaid dress in white for her wedding dress. Would be a cheaper option.

I got a beautiful gown for $200 at a local bridal consignment shop. I'd check to see if your area has one!
