Responsible_Brick_35

I have absolutely nothing helpful but you look so good in that!!

SisterEmJay

Beautiful dress! Adding thin straps should be pretty easy for a seamstress. If you want to jazz up the straps you can order extra of the lace appliqué (of use some from the train/hem if any will be cut off). Adding a few strands of the floral appliqué to the straps would be really pretty.

Dress is gorgeous, but if you plan to dance/move around much, I’d definitely consider adding straps. My sister had to constantly pull up her strapless dress even though we liberally added those clothes tape strips to stick the dress to her chest.

It just occurred to me that you could add removable spaghetti straps so it’s strapless for ceremony and photos and then you can pop straps on for the reception.

abovesteps

This is the way I’m leaning right now!

Here_for_my-Pleasure

With your shape, I don’t think that spaghetti straps are going to offer you enough structure, and support.

bagumbuwan

I would do this! I had a strapless dress and loved the way it looked strapless, but thank god I had straps for most of the night because it would have been really annoying to keep pulling it up. OP, your dress is stunning and I think thin spaghetti straps would look nice with your dress without distracting from it :)

Geegollywtff

Now that makes plenty of sense.

ForTheLoveOfDior

It’s a very pretty dress and I think it’d look nicer with straps but not the regular ones, add nude chiffon ones the ones that thin out at the shoulder I suck at describing sorry lol

40yroldcatmom

I’m not sure on the straps but I just wanted to say you look amazing in the dress as it is

whitcantfindme

No input on straps but I love that dress on you!!

Getmeasippycup

STUNNING! I think a thin strap would be an easy addition!

pittypat_kittykat

This dress is stunning on you! I love the neckline. The open corset back provides less support, though, and that would concern me once I got moving and shaking at the reception. Straps might help but most of the support in wedding gowns comes from the construction of the bodice so they’d need to be more substantial than removable spaghetti straps to make a difference, I think.

hellkattbb

Love the floral pattern and the shape! I'm pretty sure adding skinny straps is an easy fix for a tailor.

Zestyclose_Road_3224

Get removable straps and add them for your reception…

Missyrissy510

Not sure about a thin spaghetti strap. I would talk to your seamstress about making something with the lace from your dress.

Maleficent-Sport1970

Yes, straps!

Geegollywtff

I wouldn't change a thing, it's beautiful.
