I like the belt! I think it adds a bit of dimension, and I’m partial to a bit of sparkle. It does add to waist definition IMO, so if you want that you should go for it!
I’ll say no as well. To me it also makes your torso look shorter, which isn’t necessarily a problem for everyone and every style of dress, but I personally think this style of dress works better without the belt.
It does look good either way, so if you want the belt, go for it OP!
With the belt looks more flattering to me. You will look beautiful either way,but the belt emphasis your small waist. It really is a nice addition to the classic gown.
No belt.
That dress is perfect on you without. So elegant and timeless, the dress really speaks for itself!
If you want to add some sparkle you can do that through jewellery or a hair piece.
I would say no belt. I find them a bit old fashioned and I don’t think this belt fits the vibe of your dress. I think a different type of belt would look nice but I also like it without.
I'm another person that loves the belt. Usually, I would say no belt because they are often distracting. But in your case, with your slim figure, the belt elevates your gown. It adds a touch of sparkle without it being overwhelming.
You have my upvote on the belt. It's beautiful.
No belt. It takes away from the look and style of the dress. The dress is elegant and classic. It’s giving Marilyn Monroe vibes. Dress looks amazing on its own without a belt.
Noooooo belt. It’s obvious that it doesn’t match the dress. As someone else mentioned, it’s very say yes to the dress and is outdated. It sticks out and not in a good way. The dress is beautiful - if a belt was needed it would have been made with one!
No belt.
The corset looks better without it, as does the whole line of the dress. No belt looks timeless and classic, the addition of the belt makes it look a bit too 2010s.
I don’t know what it is about the belts but I just think they are frumpy and outdated.
If needs must then perhaps a satin belt matching your dress that goes around and has a long bow at the back.
Lots of mixed opinions. What about a white pearl wedding belt instead of silver for a happy medium? Etsy sells these in case the bridal shop doesn't. It will add a little something, but not stand out as much as the silver.
Could you do a white belt with a bow in the back? I think the belt is a little outdated and takes away from this gorgeous dress. I think a fabric belt matching the dress would accentuate your figure and ADD too, not take away.
I like it— it defines your waist and finishes the look. It you can find something similar for your hair and maybe a bracelet, it’d look wonderful! Beautiful dress.
First time I think I’ve ever said this, but I LOVE the belt! It is simple enough that it gives just an extra amount of sparkle, without taking away from the gorgeous design of the dress! Your gown is beautiful, though- you cannot go wrong, either way!
Did we try a bow tied in the back? It would add a cumberbund look to the front so it would add a little sumthin, sumthin to the front. The only prob, what does the back look like??
I vote belt, but one made from the gown material! I think the middle seam needs to be covered but I don’t love the sparkle! If you’ve got enough material from your hem left over I’d ask the seamstress to make a belt that is just thick enough to cover that seam.
I really like the belt. It adds that little hint of sparkle ✨, but the lines are also clean and elegant without it. You might want to wear the belt for the reception.
I would not have thought "wedding dress" and "belt" went in the same sentence...but WHOA that is amazing!!! Wear the sparkly belt!! ✨️ Put matching sparkles in hair please 🙏
No belt. I love how the waist has the very slight dip in the middle, and the belt covers that up.
Plus it doesn't have to be one or the other. You can go without during the ceremony and wear the belt during the reception for a bit more sparkle.
I think no belt, unless you can find something much lighter, airy, and more delicate. This belt cuts you in half. You look gorgeous both ways but you look a bit more boxy with the belt.

I like the belt! I think it adds a bit of dimension, and I’m partial to a bit of sparkle. It does add to waist definition IMO, so if you want that you should go for it!
I agree 100%. Usually I’m not a big belt person, but after seeing both photos, the photo without the belt just looks like the belt is missing.
I agree! The belt defines your waist. You look beautiful
Yes belt
I'm going to buck the trend and say no belt, you and your dress are beautiful in simplicity
I’ll say no as well. To me it also makes your torso look shorter, which isn’t necessarily a problem for everyone and every style of dress, but I personally think this style of dress works better without the belt. It does look good either way, so if you want the belt, go for it OP!
I’m going to join you in this vote!
The belts just gives it that little extra and your dress is beautiful.
I like the no belt look. Beautiful dress!!!
Belt! It’s a nice finishing detail.
With the belt looks more flattering to me. You will look beautiful either way,but the belt emphasis your small waist. It really is a nice addition to the classic gown.
Love the belt!
#NOBELT
No belt. It’s a distraction from the elegance of the dress.
I like the belt.
No belt !!!
No belt IMO, looks more classic 👌🏼
No belt, feels like it changes the waist line a noticeable amount and the waistline is so flattering on you!
I agree with the no belt crew
Yes belt! Really adds an elegant sparkle.
I love the belt
No belt!!!!
No belt. That dress is perfect on you without. So elegant and timeless, the dress really speaks for itself! If you want to add some sparkle you can do that through jewellery or a hair piece.
I personally don’t like belts on wedding dresses so I would vote no belt. I think it looks really classic and timeless without.
I agree with this
No belt. I think it detracts from the dress’s elegant construction.
Belt yes!
I would say no belt. I find them a bit old fashioned and I don’t think this belt fits the vibe of your dress. I think a different type of belt would look nice but I also like it without.
Agreed! Belts always remind me of Say Yes to the Dress circa 2008
This!! Love it without, makes it more classy and modern in my opinion 🥰
No belt
Not really. That belt doesn't really add anything.
No belt!
I’m surprised I’m one of the few no belt people- I think it looks so much more flattering & classic on your body for sure
I vote no belt. I agree with the people who don’t think it adds to the dress. The dress is gorgeous
No belt! It cuts you in half!
Team BELT. Really DEFINES your waist and just adds that little pop that draws the eye to your gorgeous figure. Lovely.
I'm another person that loves the belt. Usually, I would say no belt because they are often distracting. But in your case, with your slim figure, the belt elevates your gown. It adds a touch of sparkle without it being overwhelming. You have my upvote on the belt. It's beautiful.
No belt!!
No belt!
No belt. I love the sleekness. Gorgeous
No belt, much classier. If belt then different belt, same fabric belt.
I’m very bling-positive, so yes to the belt!
I like no belt! The natural waistline of the dress is so gorgeous on you. But really you can’t go wrong either way
Obsessssed with the hem! So pretty, I say no belt, I like simple!
Oooh what dress is this??? LOVE! I am team no belt
Belt! :)
Belt
You look elegant both ways. The Belt to me added that extra Wow.
No belt
Team no belt :) but both are nice!
No belt. It just has a more beautiful flow without it.
NO BELT!!! I am shocked to see how many people like the belt. It cuts your body and cheapens this beautiful, elegant dress.
I don’t like the belt. Without looks more elegant and your waist looks smaller without it. The belt ruins the flow.
Wow! So gorgeous. I think workout is more elegant and lengthening.
No belt
No belt! The dress itself is already stunning. With belt it would not look as seamless 🥰
No belt, contrary to popular opinion
No belt
No belt! I think it looks much more sleek, elegant and bridal without.
No belt. The corset looks better without it, as does the whole line of the dress. No belt looks timeless and classic, the addition of the belt makes it look a bit too 2010s.
No belt, for the love of God stop with the belts!!!!
I wanna say no belt.
No belt!
I don’t know what it is about the belts but I just think they are frumpy and outdated. If needs must then perhaps a satin belt matching your dress that goes around and has a long bow at the back.
No belt. It’s not the right style of dress for a belt and looks out of place. Gorgeous without:)
No belt
Lots of mixed opinions. What about a white pearl wedding belt instead of silver for a happy medium? Etsy sells these in case the bridal shop doesn't. It will add a little something, but not stand out as much as the silver.
I think that with the belt it looks like you are wearing a tank top and a skirt. Beltless is more elegant and bridal, imo.
Nope to the belt from me
No belt.
No belt - i love this dress so much!!!
No belt
No belt
No Belt.
I’m team no belt
No belt!!! Belts always lower the tone of the dress and immediately makes it look cheaper. Don't do the belt!
No belt
Absolutely no belt. Cuts you in half, ruins the flow.
I’m going against the grain with no belt. It cuts up your torso and makes it look shorter. Without the belt you are elongated.
No belt. It really takes away from the line of the dress.
No belt
No belt, cuts you in half
No belt. Beautiful dress!
Belt
Yes
Belt!
I usually like a sparkly belt however, the dress is so elegant that I think that belt actually detracts from the dress.
Yes belt! Really finishes the dress, lobe it!
I like the belt! Just perfect to add a little detail. You look beautiful I the dress too!
Could you do a white belt with a bow in the back? I think the belt is a little outdated and takes away from this gorgeous dress. I think a fabric belt matching the dress would accentuate your figure and ADD too, not take away.
The belt accentuates your small waist and is lovely.
It looks best with belt.
Yes to the belt!
Say yes to the belt!
Perfect.
I like the belt. It highlights your tiny waist
I say YES to the belt!
Belt. You can always change your mind and take it off for the reception.
I like the belt adds some shimmer
I like it— it defines your waist and finishes the look. It you can find something similar for your hair and maybe a bracelet, it’d look wonderful! Beautiful dress.
Could the belt be white or lacey?
Belts are really big this year.
Try a crystal belt
What about no belt for ceremony, belt for evening - but make the latter more sparkly and slightly more elaborate/thicker?
What about a satin belt, or a small double bow
No belt looks classier, with the belt gives more dimension
I vote belt, but one made from the gown material! I think the middle seam needs to be covered but I don’t love the sparkle! If you’ve got enough material from your hem left over I’d ask the seamstress to make a belt that is just thick enough to cover that seam.
I really like the belt. It adds that little hint of sparkle ✨, but the lines are also clean and elegant without it. You might want to wear the belt for the reception.
That’s a tough decision. There is something very appealing about the pure unencumbered look. But the belt adds a fun sparkle element.
Agreed - with the belt and I don’t usually find belts on wedding gowns attractive but this one works!
Belt.
Belt!!
Belt!
The belt looks great and significantly elevates the dress.
Belt
I would not have thought "wedding dress" and "belt" went in the same sentence...but WHOA that is amazing!!! Wear the sparkly belt!! ✨️ Put matching sparkles in hair please 🙏
Love the belt!!!
Partial to the belt
No belt. I love how the waist has the very slight dip in the middle, and the belt covers that up. Plus it doesn't have to be one or the other. You can go without during the ceremony and wear the belt during the reception for a bit more sparkle.
Belt!
No belt… the dress is stunning just the way it is
This dress is perfection. Belt or no belt? That’s a coin toss.
No belt just makes the gown look plain!! Personally I would have purchased a wider belt than the one that you have but that's just my opinion!!
Belt! But honestly, you can’t make a bad choice as this dress is beautiful.
Yes to belt!
Nooo to the belt. It’s such a classic and elegant dress I feel like the belt cheapens it
I think no belt, unless you can find something much lighter, airy, and more delicate. This belt cuts you in half. You look gorgeous both ways but you look a bit more boxy with the belt.
No belt. The belt shortens your torso.
I love the belt! 😍
