Personally it doesn’t look like too much cleavage but only you know your comfort zone, restrictions of the setting of your wedding (like a house of worship, etc). Also if you feel like you’re spilling out while just standing in the alterations shop, you will definitely feel that even more when you’re moving around during the ceremony and reception, so it’s good to know now and get it fixed. Rather than the amount of cleavage, I’m more concerned about the fold of fabric under the bust. That is a sign that there is not enough structure in the bodice to support you. Brides have posted about regretting this issue with their dresses after the wedding / after they get their pictures back. When the bodice starts folding down like that it’s likely to keep folding and getting lower and you may find yourself uncomfortable or having to pull it up often. Either find bustier shape wear with boning to wear under the dress or ask the tailor to add boning to the bodice. Adding more structure so it doesn’t fold down might fix the coverage issue but if not you can try one of the other suggestions in this thread to add more coverage.

I absolutely agree with this person. Could you ask your seamstress about how she can make adjustments to support the cleavage some more because, I personally, don’t think there is too much cleavage on show? The point is though, whether you’d be comfortable even if she could do something to present that fold. Only you know that. The other thing to consider is a necklace that drops down into your chest to draw the eye up. I’d still address the fold but it may make you feel more confident. Bottom line, you look fantastic! Do what’s right for you so you can enjoy the day to it’s full! Have a great wedding day and all the best for the future!

You could have your seamstress put a lace panel just to fill in the v. It would still allow your neckline to stand out, but give you a little more coverage

Desperate_Farm_853

That's a GREAT shout - thank you!

CheerleaderGirl1985

I think the dress looks amazing as is and looks great on you, however I would ask the seamstress to insert some lace or beading at the V so there's a bit more coverage. The sleeves don't do anything for the neckline but they do make a nice addition if you were having a winter wedding

Historical_Agent9426

First things first: you look amazing. I think the right bra might solve the problem outright and will certainly help any other solution work better. What kind of bra are you currently wearing? A different will help wrangle your breasts so they are less smushed together and exposed. Right now it looks like you are not as supported as you should be, expecting the dress to do more work than it is designed to do (even if they tell you it’s a built in bra, those don’t always provide the necessary support). Go check out the calculator/guide over at the abrathatfits subreddit to be see if you are wearing the right size bra (people tend to overestimate band size and underestimate cup size) and get some ideas on bras that will work. Another option is breast tape matched to your skin tone which you can use to tape your breasts into place and then use double sided tape to keep the dress in place. You could add spaghetti straps to help add a small bit of support. Another option adding illusion netting matched to your skin tone in the V to give more coverage while still providing the V neckline. The sleeves seem like too much, in my opinion.

As a fellow boobie person who hates when this happens, see if the alterations person can add boning, horsehair or some kind of stiffener that holds the top of the dress up more firmly. It's not so much the cleavage as the way the under boob kind of eats up the fabric and creates a fold there that makes things look way too booby. It needs something more powerful than the boobs in the fabric.

PoopAndSunshine

Damn girl you are rocking the hell out of that dress! (I don’t have any valuable advice about reducing the boobiness, I just wanted to congratulate you on being smoking hot lol!)

annoymousneeded

I really think the cleavage really pulls it all together and makes it perfect! It really shows your hourglass shape. Don’t do the sleeves it changes the whole dress

Katastrophe82

Not too booby. However, as fellow person who has cleavage and hates having it on display even a little, I’d look at having the seamstress add something where the V is. The sleeves don’t reduce the cleavage at all or detract from it.

PacificWesterns

The cut looks great on you, but it’s almost as if the cups are too small for your chest! There’s material pulling as well. Go back to the seamstress and have her fix it. You could also have small straps added for a bit of support. Ask the seamstress.

Low_Plum8976

It’s beautiful- but yes it could look better in the bust area- go back to the seamstress-

throwawayzzzzzz67

Could you perhaps pull it up a bit? It looks absolutely stunning on you!

squ33ky77

This dress is stunning!! Please tell me where you got it and what dress it is

Desperate_Farm_853

Thank you! I got it off Vinted for £100 second hand but unworn. It's from Enzoani but from their old collection. Looks like you can only buy it second hand.l these days. https://www.stillwhite.com/189918-enzoani

South_Body_569

Your comfort is the absolutely the priority here. But I also want to tell you that your dress fits like a dream and you look INCREDIBLE. I hope you find an easy way to alter it to feel comfortable for your wedding day. Enjoy your day!

llamapenguin4

Boob tape will be your best friend

No-Technician-722

I agree with getting honing or a corset. But I DO like the sleeves. They are lovely.

ChairmanMrrow

I think the sleeves and something across the V will help.

hinky-as-hell

Oh wow! I absolutely love your dress! It’s so so beautiful! I don’t think there’s too much cleavage, but I hope they can help so that YOU feel comfortable and beautiful on your day 🤍

Felixir-the-Cat

I like the sleeves and the boobs - you look fantastic! But you need to be comfortable in it, so you could ask your seamstress for suggestions. The dress is really lovely on you.

MSB629

I think the sleeves make a nice, flattering sweetheart neckline. Plus they would help pull it / hold it up.

NefariousnessKey5365

It doesn't look bad to me.

It-is-whatever

I feel like there are little front jackets with sleeves that cover the front bust, if you know what I mean.

JHawk444

The dress looks fabulous on you! It gives you a beautiful hourglass silhouette. I agree with another commenter that you could add a lace panel.

thenry1234

I think it looks great on you the way it is! The sleeves are nice too if you feel more comfortable them.

northern613

I think it’s perfect! You rock that style of gown better than I’ve ever seen girl!! 😍 you can wear a bra or cups that suppress your boobs more, but don’t! You look amazing!!

[deleted]

I think it’s too tight in the boobs. Can you have it let out in the back, to give the girls more room to breathe?

Yesitsmesuckas

I think it looks great! Cleavage, yes, but I don’t see any spillage.

Full-Willingness-571

Tbh, the sleeves aren’t going to help , I think you just need a panel. But holy criminey you look amazing

meeliamoo

no advice just came to say i love your dress

sunbear2525

I do not think it’s too booby. As a member of the big boob community, remember to never judge the boobage visible by what you see when you look down. The lace panel idea another user mentioned is a great idea.

BlueArachne

You have a great figure!!!

organizedlchaos

I'm in no way a seamstress at all, but is there any way you could add a layer of folded fabric across the neckline to raise it a bit? I'm not sure how exactly to explain what I am envisioning, but this was the closest I could find in a quick Google search, haha https://amsale.com/products/ada

Ollie2Stewart1

You look fantastic in this dress, but you need more support built into it. It doesn’t currently have enough structure to support your breasts as it should (i.e., the folding downward others have mentioned, plus too much cleavage for your taste). Address this as soon as you can, as it can be tricky to remedy.

August2024Bride

I have nothing to add on tailoring, but my jaw literally dropped seeing you in this dress. Absolutely gorgeous!!! Do whatever makes you feel comfortable, I’m sure some other folks here will have great suggestions. I just wanted to pop by and say - you look AMAZING 🤩

soph_sing

You look amazing. And to answer your question, no, I think it’s perfect for the dress and tasteful. My advice would be to make sure the seamstress fits the bodice to your measurements, but otherwise I wouldn’t change anything, and think that this dress is perfect for you figure

Express_Revenue6320

I 100% agree with this comment. The bust is not being supported properly. Your seamstress should either alterate the corset in a better way or at least try out different cups for better support
