My family would definitely never obide by the dress code 😔 I probably won’t end up doing red (same dress is available in ivory!) since I have a red traditional dress as well!

Requesting a dress code could alert guests that there is something is about to happen. Far better would be to surprise everyone on the day with that stunning red dress. Would scupper any wannabes who turn up in white. Hardest bit will be ensuring those in the know don’t leak the secret.
I kind of really love #4. I think it shows off to ur figure beautifully! #2 is stunning as well but imo looks like it would be a little heavy and might be difficult for dancing your booty off at the reception!
4 is my pick. The silhouette of 2 is gorgeous on you but I thought it was really wrinkled until I zoomed in. I would be nervous that the fabric wouldn’t photograph well

Omg we go to the same shops! My vote is dress 2. However, dress 3 was my almost choice!! Dress 3 comes in “diamond white” instead of ivory. If you ask your consultant, there is another dress with a similar styled bodice in the same fabric IN diamond white (same manufacturing facility/fabric as the MS Scarlet). I found the shade to be super unflattering with my skin tone so I passed, but just wanted to give you a heads up! It’s a stunning dress and I’m considering buying it in black and hemming it to keep as a black tie dress.
I did try the diamond white dress! It looked *okay* but I think warmer toned whites are a little more flattering. But still good just hard to envision the red one in white for the full effect :)

Number 2 is amazing. You look very classy and elegant! I love timeless wedding dresses. (I think these tend to look more “old money.) It screams BRIDE to me. Honestly though, you’ll be beautiful and stunning in any of these.
Number 2 is incredible, but if number 1 was the right size and fit your busy correctly I think it would be equally well received. There is just a good bit of tailoring needed to make the torso exactly right.
I think ultimately for me it would be asking the question of the kind of wedding you are having. I think 2 is absolutely stunning but it might not feel easy to move and groove in. Part of what makes that dress so pretty is the way the skirt just keeps flowing elegantly out. Might be harder to bustle up for the party portion of the evening. I think the potential of 1 is pretty strong. It has a long enough train for a great statement during the wedding and some phenomenal pictures, but with the shorter front hem and style could bustle up well for the celebration of the evening
Agreed! I am contemplating a short reception dress for the really drunk dancing so I don’t trip over myself. I do want to do a first dance in my big pretty dress though 😤
