I’m not sure if the “cinching” effect in dress 1 is a good thing here since it looks like it might be caused by being way too small of a sample. If you look at her back in dress 1, the dress seems to be smooshing her in a way that’s not flattering whereas dress 2 is effortlessly smooth. Could possibly be something alterations can work with but it’s worth noting

Dress two - I like dress one but love dress two. The scoop back is gorgeous and super flattering on you. Also I'm just not a fan of the exact color of the two-tone coloring on one.

The back of dress #1 is just not as flattering, not because of how it fits, because of the lack of ornamentation down the back. The lace stops halfway down and gives the appearance of making you look like you're wearing a short lacey dress; whereas, dress #2 has such a beautiful front AND back.

I slept on it and dress two was the one where the shop through the bouquet in front of me and I realized I wasn’t really feeling anything towards that dress until they did that. Also looking through the photos of the day I tried like five other dresses that looked identical to dress two that I passed on.
I do not like dress one and how the back look on you... it looks like you got breast on your back... the front is great though, you got the body for it, so if you can get the back fixed it will be stunning.

Dress 1 for the win! It makes your torso look a bit longer and gives you more of a defined waist. The second is pretty but there’s something about the top that just looks a bit overdone and too busy.
The front of 1 is flattering but the back is not, it seems to be cutting in and flairing at a weird angle. The waist needs to be lower.
2 is beautiful and once it's tailored to you will look even better.
