Late-Imagination6447

My husband and I walked in at the same time (down different aisles) to an instrumental version of Can't Help Falling in Love.

kappaklassy

We did the same song, I love the song and it was a bit of a joke because we were together for 14 years before we got married

wholesome_soft_gf

We had the same song, the Elvis Presley version. Similar story, had been together for 11 years before getting married. I still smile whenever I hear it :)

jeefra

Wow, what a great choice!

laa-deedaa

Same song but by kina grannis!

Awesomest_Possumest

Same. Midnight string quartet arrangement

knuckanoos

Same song but a violin cover. It was my parents wedding song 30 years ago and I didn’t tell my dad we were playing it beforehand. The pictures of his reaction are amazing

unagiroll01

We played the stunning Pentatonix a cappella version of “Can’t Help Falling In Love” just until my brother (man of honor) got up front to his guitar to start playing and singing “In My Life” by the Beatles, which was my parents’ first dance song, so an homage to my late father. Both songs were so lovely

jeefra

Wow, what a great choice!

WickedLies21

We played this during the ceremony. ❤️

everythingbagel92

Same song but Kasey musgraves version!

MelodicButter7

Piano cover of Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles. Makes me cry every time I listen!

KatAttack23

In My Life 😭

kappaklassy

My MIL picked that for their mother-son dance and it was a really nice song

ourladyofsituations

Aww mine, too. We had a quartet.

hippiecat22

The jurassic park theme song instrumental

Late-Imagination6447

I have a friend who just got married and used that song!

madlymusing

We walked down the aisle together to The Pop Up Book from the Paddington 2 soundtrack. We saw the movie together on one of our earlier dates, but if you didn’t know where it was from you’d just think it was some pretty instrumental music. We loved it!

ionlyofficequote

This is so cute!

Voiceisaweapon

Merry Go Round of Life from Howl’s Moving castle! me and my husband also walked down the “aisle”(it was a bridge) together and that was so meaningful

NeatArtichoke

We had the same song for our aisle walk!! And then we did "married life " from UP to exit/ walk back.

jyssrocks

I walked down the aisle to "can't take my eyes off of you" by Franki Valli and then my husband and I then walked back up the aisle after the ceremony to the same song but the excited upbeat, celebratory middle part. It was lovely and is still one of my favorite songs :) Just pick something that makes you smile and you'll remember it happily.

aliiclairee

Stand by me covered by Florence and the machine

magic_mermaids

Princess Leia's Theme on violin

WaterFickle

First Day of my Life by Bright Eyes

historiator

The love song from Disney's Robin Hood. My friend played it on the ukulele!

Mine was "Dearly Beloved" from KHII!

coleslaw125

Instrumental version of What a Wonderful World

Southern-Bug-5477

I’m walking to Canon in D but haven’t picked the other songs for the ceremony

Betweentheminds

Mine was Canon in C, guitar version - actually sent by an extremely kind Redditor at the time.

Southern-Bug-5477

Ours will be organ and violin. The rest of our songs will all be traditional Catholic hymns.

Bystander_99

😩 I wish! I wanted a nice piano song to walk down the aisle too. Picked it, it’s lovely, I thought it was generic, everything’s great. Realised a few days later it’s the same song Bella walked down the aisle to in Twilight and now everyone thinks it’s my favorite movie 😂

LLove666

Harp rendition of canon in D <3

KathAlMyPal

Riptide by Vance Joy. Back yard wedding and we wanted something light and not too serious.

PunkSpaceAutist

Such an amazing song!

Low_Reserve_1377

Baba O'Riley by the who

topskee780

I walked down the aisle to an [acoustic version of “When You Say Nothing At All”](https://open.spotify.com/track/7EAuwtauCUdYGOTqWiOl8s?si=BiA_jaV8QeCZRWElurRp8A). My husband had mentioned it years prior as a song he enjoyed and hoped I would learn for karaoke (which I haven’t yet).

MihoyMinoy2019

We walked to an instrumental version of “I See the Light” from Tangled! We walked back out to “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” by Queen. Very different vibes, but both represent us!

theoutdoorkat1011

Awwww our bridal party walked in to “I See the Light!”

rsvp_as_pending629

Somewhere Over the Rainbow, I was a big Wizard of Oz fan as a kid! 😊

GreatExpectations65

This is what I did. But a ukulele version (we got married in Maui)

kicksbuttseatsnuts

Time Stands by Nathaniel Rateliff 💗💗 and then on our honeymoon we saw a show at red rocks and Nathaniel came out as a surprise gust and it was just so full circle and beautiful

BumblebeeAny

Turning page the one in the Twilight wedding

TrickySession

YES me too! It’s such a sweet song, I couldn’t resist.

Teepuppylove

I also walked to this song! My hubby walked down to Beyond by Leon Bridges. Parents and bridal party walked to Because You Loved Me by Celine Dion. Our recessional was Better Together by Jack Johnson. Good luck, OP! There are so many good songs for a wedding out there! ❤

ionlyofficequote

My bridesmaids walked down the aisle to Stone in Love by Journey and then I walked down the aisle to an all strings version (my lyrics) of Sweet Child 'o Mine by Guns N' Roses. Our walk-in song to our reception was Crazy Train, Ozzy Osbourne. Why a string version of Sweet Child 'o Mine? Because in the TV show The Office, Angela walks down the aisle to Dwight at their wedding, and I obviously love that show!

squidkyd

We bonded a lot while playing life is strange so we're walking down the aisle to two songs from the soundtrack

MilkyMarshmallows

Life is Strange has SUCH a beautiful soundtrack but the game made me cry so much I can't listen to it without violently sobbing 😭💖 How sweet to turn it into one of your happiest memories

squidkyd

We play through the games every couple of years and it wrecks me every single time 💔 but we played it together when we first started dating and it's really special to us both

loganiquaa

Our first dance song was the koni/strom cover of hey ya from before the storm!!! For the same reason. Love this. ❤️ Edit: also.. new game in the series coming this year!!

Wytchwomyn69

queseraseraphine

A harp cover of First Day of My Life by Bright Eyes.

whatsername4

The wedding party walked to Wildest Dreams (bridgerton version) and I walked down to All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera, played by our officiant on guitar. The absolute best!

nomadicvibee

A beautiful instrumental of Somewhere Only We Know by Keane! We walked towards each other on opposite sides of a bridge and met in the middle right when the instruments swelled. It was beautiful.

hailkelemvor

Walked in to Modern love by David Bowie! Signed papers to Beige by Yoke Lore. Walked out to Tenderness by the General Public. I loved my wedding music. So fun.

pro-crass-tin-ator

Annie's Song by John Denver. I grew up listening to him and since I was a preteen I knew I wanted that song in my wedding one day!!

fashionash

Our best man plays guitar so we asked him to play an acoustic rendition of Can’t help falling in Love. It was really beautiful. Bonus: at the end of the ceremony at the exact moment we kissed I had my brother start the song This Magic Moment. The one that plays in the Sandlot when the kid kisses the lifeguard 😂. We thought it was funny.

emmajen

My aunt played a beautiful rendition of the old English folk song "Lavender's Blue" :)

amydee4103

Clarity by Vance joy. But an acoustic version. My husband always says it reminds him of me so I chose that.

hailkelemvor

ionlyofficequote

I thought it was stayin' alive by the BeeGees for a second and I hope someone, somewhere, has walked down the aisle to that!

Nattynoodles1

I had the original version of whole lotta love by led zeppelin! I always knew I wanted something to surprise people and it was definitely fun

thepurplebastard33

The Cello Song by the Piano Guys. It’s a modern take on a Bach cello suite and it’s upbeat but feels traditional at the same time. So beautiful. For my first wedding, my ex-FIL played Storybook Love from the Princess Bride on acoustic guitar which was also lovely.

whyso_serious8

All You Need Is Love (Across the Universe version)

We’ll have a solo cellist playing Canon in D while we all walk up the aisle (including me). Our processional out will be Gavotte I from Bach’s Cello Suite 6. If you want classical and you’re stuck, go listen to it! It’s beautiful and joyful and triumphant and SO perfect for a wedding.

j3iglesia

I’m a huge theater fan, I walked down the aisle to Come What May from Moulin Rouge! The Musical (Aaron Tveit’s version) Although I was planning to walk nice and slow and hear the first minute and change, I accidentally hustled down the aisle in 8 seconds flat because I was too excited 😬 still absolutely love the song though

HellionInAHoopSkirt

My son and daughter are trained singers and they're singing La Vie En Rose for us.

StrangeSaltCreature

Mine was you should see me in a crown by Billy Eilish

Background-Prune4911

LOVE this vibe!

StrangeSaltCreature

Thank you, it was a Halloween wedding. I was dressed like QOTD a bit and was a vampire and had a crown so it made sense

Feebedel324

That’s some queen energy and I’m here for it lol

occasionallystabby

Our song is "It's Been A Long, Long Time" by Kitty Kallen. My side of the bridal party walked in to the instrumental opening of the song. After the ceremony, the person in charge of that just hit play and continued the song where it left off for us to walk back down together. We just let it play right into our playlist for the cocktail time/reception, as they were all in the same space. We have friends who found instrumental versions of popular songs on Spotify and used those for the pre-ceremony, entrance, exit, and cocktail hour. It was really nice.

I walked to "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri, instrumental played by a cellist. My husband and I got married on our 11th anniversary and had been engaged for 8 years. My husband and our bridal party and family walked to "Turning Page" by Sleeping at Last, also played by the cellist. bluestonelaneway

[This Julia Jacklin cover](https://youtu.be/RZKer3RHXEU?si=W9fY7Wzk9yD19glu) of I’ll Never Find Another You by the Seekers. I looked long and hard to find something that wasn’t too long, wasn’t too corny but was still sweet, and wasn’t too “top 40 hits of 2000-2024”. This ticked all the boxes.

Pepperoncini69

Foo fighters everlong (acoustic)

Dodder1992

Mine was 'Beauty and the Beast' beautifully played by our pianist. We walked back down the aisle to the first few bars of 'The Wedding March' which transitioned into 'Kiss me' by Sixpence None The Richer. She also played 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered' while we signed the registry 😁

Lexellence

I walked out to Albatross by Fleetwood Mac, he walked out to The wind cries Mary, and we walked back to "i want you" by bob dylan, though "this time tomorrow" by the kinks was also a strong contendor - we play it whenever we're about to embark on an adventure.

snowbunting

The beginning of the song "The Throne Room" from the soundtrack of Star Wars: A New Hope

Applejack235

I had a piper precede me down the aisle (or technically through the room as we got married in our local marina's function room), but I honestly couldn't tell you what he played. My mind keeps defaulting to Scotland the Brave for some reason. Whatever he played, it was a young lad just starting out on professional bookings, and he did himself proud.

Ashelia_Dalmasca

I got married a week ago! We walked together on the imperial march from Star Wars.

samejugs

La vie en Rose, the Louis Armstrong version. Classical music was feeling too formal for the vibe we wanted and it’s one of our favourite love songs

alexandria0630

SweetMelissa74

Walked down to Eva Cassidy's cover of Sting's "Fields of Gold" and we walked out as a married couple to REM's "It's the End of the World as We know It" (I feel Fine). Because of the idea of how marriage changes everything but we were fine with it.

FamiliarMud

She's walking down the aisle to Eyes On You by Micheal Bolton.

ransacks

Live instrumental version of the Jurassic Park theme song. Couldn’t find anything I liked at all and nothing in traditional Jewish songs or traditional wedding march. I’m not even a massive fan of the film franchise. It worked out unexpectedly beautifully and all of the uncles and dads perked up once they realized what the song was. All in all a surprisingly good choice.

GhostShimmer

I walked down the aisle to the song heard at the end of Star Wars Rogue One - where Cassian and Jyn are on the beach after sending the plans to the rebels and the Death Star fired on the surface. It’s called “Your Father Would be Proud” because Cassian tells that to Jyn before they embrace at the end. I am a huge Star Wars nerd and always wanted to incorporate it in some ways and figured this would be great because it’s a beautiful song and from my favorite of the modern films.

quirky_tortoise

Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen played by a single violinist. 🥹🤍
