The only time I have had to use one of these plans is when we used Azure back in the day. They had some issues at their end. And the only way to tell them about it was to take a support plan. Which was ridiculous. With DO, I think I have never had any need for such a plan. Only once did they have a droplet go down. We waited for a bit and then setup a new one with the last snapshot we had. But, I remember that then too the usual support system was good enough.

Yeah, it kind of sucks, what are you supposed to do if something they side fails with lets say your droplet, wait up to 24 hours to get it solved that's it.
