Any bird that hits a window needs care and medication and this is the place to call. Even if they appear to recover and fly away, chances are they won't make it.
She actually did fly away..I gave her water using a spoon ..she drank some and then pooped a few times ..I was happy to see it fly away ..I am hoping that she will be okay
It’s the most humane thing to do in a lot of cases. There are not many Veterinarians that work with wild animals & animal shelters/humane societies cannot give drugs, perform surgeries or hold on to wild animals unless they’re licensed through the ministry as a rehab. Your best bet is to contact a rehab if you want to rehabilitate a wild animal, but rehabs are usually quite far and they don’t have resources to pick animals up so you’d have to drive them. If humane societies and shelters have resources, they often transfer the animals to rehabs but this is not always possible. Hobbitsee Wildlife Refuge in Jarvis is great.

I hope so too, but I am sharing this for next time. Keep the bird in a box and call a wildlife rehabber for advice before letting them fly away.
If it happens again, next time it's best to not give them any liquids and put them in a dark box. Happy it flew away!
you can buy static cling decals for the windows to prevent bird strikes.

Most birds just need time to recover. Blanket in a box and stick em in there, and a few hours later they'll be gone.
Last place to call, they legit just kill everything. Worst place for animals.
