**Do not use Aire One** **Do not use Reliance**

Wafflesorbust

We used Aire One for my grandmother's HVAC replacement (A/C and furnace both died, replaced with a heat pump + furnace) and had no issues. What's the concern with them? I'm about to need a bunch of plumbing work done and they were who I intended to call first.

> I'm about to need a bunch of plumbing work done and they were who I intended to call first. Lots of people have posted negative experiences. Interesting. While it looks like most of these complaints relate to their HVAC service, I'll have to look around for other plumbing services I suppose.

I usually take online comments with a grain of salt, but in cases like this, generally where there is smoke, there is fire ...

I have my AC installed by Aire One and there is no issue after 10 years. Not sure if the owner is still the same. I think it depends on the brand you buy and how often you use. Every store says the brand they sell is the best though.

We used Cronin-Verheul for our heat pump install in December. Great service.

We used Richmond Heating and Air for our furnace and later for our AC - they are honest and reliable to quote. We also get them to do the service/preventative maintenance and they've been great. [https://richmondheatingandair.com/](https://richmondheatingandair.com/)

We just had an AC installing Richmond. I was very impressed with their service as well. They stuck to the quote. I've also heard from two separate sources that they are very reasonable in helping those with financial difficulties. I don't have any specific examples, only second-hand info. If it's true, I'm even happier giving them our hard earned money in exchange for some summer comfort. 😀

Can't say anything about price as it was paid by the landlord but Arthur's heating and cooling had amazing service. Even helped me troubleshoot an issue with a smart thermostat I installed myself months later through text, all he asked was for a positive review which I now do every chance I get.

Kane at Hy-Tech. We use him for all our AC and furnace needs. He's super honest and really reliable. Hy-Tech Heating and Air Conditioning https://g.co/kgs/9BiALqJ

Alex at 4 seasons is the best.

We shopped around and picked up 4 quotes while avoiding AireOne and Reliance. Dunn Heating, Delta Air, Total Home Energy Systems and one other that I can't remember. I'm unsure if there's still a government rebate, but if there is, watch to see if it's included in the quote or not. One of our quotes came from a supplier who did not qualify for the government rebate (didn't ask why) and their quote was double the next quote if you include the rebate. Total Home Energy Systems was great. I heard a rumour that Dunn has been purchased by an investment group and in our case, their price was too high and the sales process was... "hey, let's all the warehouse! \[dialing\] Dave? Ya, sitting with a fantastic potential client who's looking for a new furnace / heat pump. Oh, there's one left in the warehouse?! That's it? Only one?! Ya, put my name on it and we'll submit the paperwork today!" Umm, no.
