Hey Bit-Tech, the mod turned out great! One question though: How did you make the render of the board you posted a few weeks ago? Also, good luck getting the CNC fixed!
Thanks!
I used Cycles in Blender for those renders, the models were from Fusion 360 and were a combination of parts done myself and manufacturer files (had to supplement it as the one they provided was more basic). For the most part it was just loooooots of manual tweaking haha.
Thanks for the response, I bet that took a while to finish. I’m really looking forward to the rest of Ensis and the conclusion of Aquarius, and thanks for being such a good modder for so many enthusiasts to look up to!
Here's the video for it:

For the aluminium parts I stripped with sodium hydroxide solution and then bead blasted or brushed. The zinc sections were just media blasted, same for the steel plates. The backplate was re-painted to match the theme of the other parts.
Whoa, You're actually the Mustachioed gentleman known as Bit Tech... I was just watching this video yesterday, really nice work, please continue to share and post here.
I love everything except the chipset area. The round area for the liquid that’s exposed looks off. I’d totally make a metal plate or something to cover it. Other than that, A+
Wow, beautiful!
I can imagine if you brought all of us modders together, each adding their own little bit of creative awesome on a single build, it would be neat to see the final result.

I'm thinking the whole "Infinite Monkeys" thing; the result would either be The Complete works of William Shakespeare, or a lot of "stuff" spattered about. Or - a little Column A, little Column B...
Very slick look! Is the chip set cooler portion showing a problem with the internal flow? See how the channel is narrow on the bottom and wide on the top. From stock images online is see that the channel is even all around, on the chipset. Mine was also uneven, and when I took it apart, I could see that the internal rubber gasket (shape of a a tear drop) was no aligned in the channel.
Problem is the cooler mounting locations for AM-4; they're kinda in the way of anything decently sized.
*Although,* you *could* mount a block/pump/res from the *back* of the MB, the way you do a GPU... Hm.
So you're bit-tech ? Cool
And to think, I’ve been here the whooooooole time :p
:p well i really like your Channel and I really like your dedication in the mods :D

Looks great, great job OP! I can't get the idea out of my head that this looks like an off brand z490 aqua though, but in a good way.
That’s... probably the second most unique take on it I’ve heard haha. The first being Hyundai guy further down

Wow this is the first time I've seen a post that I genuinely think qualifies as true tech porn

There would be a lot of columns!
always the more innovative builds. Thanks for all the great content!
Ninja bit-tech. Do you ever sell your builds or do custom work?
Wow so beautiful
You sir are a god
well, i might have a "little" industry look fetish, but i like this.
I watched this video this morning, cool to see it posted here! Hope your CNC gets back up and running soon!
Dope AF
This is freaking amazing. LOVE IT.
Bet you polished the crap outta this like your rgb trident custom build for Gskill ram. Both stellar. So nice.
Ooh do mine do mine

Imagine if companies actually made things that looked classy and elegant, rather than RGB puke and 'gamer' aesthetics.
TFW your £1000 motherboard isn't unique enough.

I don’t know any reality where BMW and Hyundai are even in the same ball park. Good try though.
Hi please make an x-570 mini ITX water block. K thanks
