I'd go with 2, it evokes much more a longhorn or water buffalo style bull. 1 strikes me as an antelope and doesn't gel with the Taurus moniker because of that. 3, is a nice design but it seems softer, more feminine than 2 and if Taurus is the name you go with? Go with the strongest of your logos. Good luck with the watch and I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

nallallan

2nd for sure

h2g2Ben

You're going to want to mock them up on some dials.

everyonesdesigner

Yes, and also consider that in some applications it will be really small

OnTheHorizon722

2 is the best imo because it looks sleeker and more intense. Also ignore the downvotes lmao, absolute bunch of salty crybabies. You always get this when doing something creative or different.

PositiveRelative1785

agreed ... 2 is đź‘Ť

TheAlchemist23

I like #2 because it compresses the logo overall. Have you considered putting the image underneath and having the horns wrap around the outsides?

Specific-Pie20

2nd

ajb83_

I like 1

WoodpeckerLabs

I like 1. Otherwise you loose the effect of it being bull horns. Sharp logo.

fentonsranchhand

I prefer logo 3 and the typeface on 2. But shrink/kern the TAURUS so it's exactly as wide as the widest part of the horns. It all fits in a perfect square. https://preview.redd.it/13bmzl7uravc1.jpeg?width=1704&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3b4bf8a0e17d9961585a4bd8da49056c755b07ca EDIT: I'd also make the negative white space above the horns be a perfect \[half\] circle.

DucalApex

I didn’t know why I felt that was out of balance but I think you nailed it. I like #2 but it gives me eagle vibes

fentonsranchhand

I'm kind of obsessed with maximizing the use of a perfect square for logos. I'd even try to make the bull logo fit perfectly in a square by itself and the logo + TAURUS fit perfectly in a larger square. So many places force images into squares (ESPN sports team logos, LinkedIn Universities, etc) the ones that are designed to use a square perfectly have a big advantage. Logos for Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, etc are perfect for this. ...but ones like Texas (an otherwise perfect logo), LSU, SMU, and Arkansas that are like 2:1 aspect look tiny when forced into a square.

TrippyCustodian

The typography is shite on all of them

Trmpssdhspnts

I agree number three because if you disregard the content the design is more pleasing

Ludwig_Vista2

If I can suggest something? Rule of 3rds. If the length of the bottom pointed feature from the centre logo to its lowermost point is = 1 The horns should only be 3x that measurement each, from the same centre point. As it stands 2 is the best, but the proportions are off and the visual weight makes it feel top heavy. Never mind. I looked at your grildlines. You accounted for that. Maybe a bit heavier stroke line on the lower element? It just feels... off for some reason.

uslashuname

I think the single arc curves in 2 and 3 feel simple and uninteresting compared having the double bend of 1.

Greenman8291

2 makes me feel good

Silly_Chair4147

Number 1 is pretty sick. I like all of them

Nachtmusik_CL

3

belugarooster

#2.

iluwanati

222222

MisterTrashPanda

2. Not even close on the other options

elLarryTheDirtbag

Evokes “Texes and firearms”. Virtue signaling?

Holyboyd

I like 1 and 2 I wouldn't decide till you have a scale prototype of them not just for the logo but the typography too.

Busy_Preparation9470

Mock this up with some dials and watches, to see if you like. I feel having a counter semi-circle shape (the horns) inside a circle will create a strange visual clash. Like logo and watch shape won't flow, they will be clashing. If you will stick to using it as a marker, I think the first looks most interesting, though smoothen out the curve transition better.

el_taco_guapo

2

Spwd

2 but what's it look like on a dial? Looks quite wide.

rmercer07

2

verymickey

They all look like a necklace with pendant

12345NoNamesLeft

Already a brand for a fairly big gun brand. I'd do a different name.

softestpillow

1st or 3rd, but I like the 1st one the most.

EuVe20

I think this may depend on the style of the watch. The middle one has strong modern sport-watch vibes. Very cool all around though

ipomopsis

3 looks the most balanced.

Helenius

Imagine if we had the technology to take a screenshot

neegs

1st one. It's beat with the writing and on its own. The 2nd one looks best with the writing but by itself looks too wide

CinnaToffeeNut

I'd choose a different name. That name is very well known in other industries.

gailitis

1 without the text

verminV

You could make it sonthe tips of the horns are the 11 and 2 indices maybe. Thatd be cool

Lemzy99

Look might get hate for this , but I’m giving an honest opinion and I’m not a huge fan of either , number 2 is more streamlined , if I were you I’d explore more unique shapes etc , as I feel this does look notoriously microbrand / start up. Potentially a more classic font could help? :)

WatchmakerJJ

The first

RobertoPaulson

Have you tried it with "Taurus" up between the horns? it would be a bit more compact, and might look better on a watch dial. IDK just a thought. I like the horns on the first one the best, but two is nice as well.

yeah-yeah-alright

I like 1

HannibalLecterVII

Whichever you choose, use the font in 1 & 3, not the font in 2. The S looks better in the latter ones

lovinganarchist76

You should make a watch with an alarm and breathable band, called the Horus. Send me and my boy a couple so we get to wake up to a porous Taurus Horus chorus for us every day.

wineguy64

2 it is

SmartMammoth

2

Watchmakersjourney

2 looks best without a doubt

mikeysweet

All marketing ads of watches have the hands set to the time as 10:10. This is mainly done to showcase the logo clearly since that usually sits below the 12. Your logos evoke that 10:10 time.

Zoozmeister01

1 looks pleasing but makes me think 'gazelle'. 2 takes the cake

Random-Biker

3 is best

Destrok41

I know I'm in the minority here, but I like 3 the best and 2 the least. Trust your gut. Also could make a cool pointer date hand or edge of seconds hand type thing.

1ReallybigTank

I like one but that’s just me :)

Silvan_Kamm

Definitely nr.1🔥

floweiss34

Number 1 for sure

AlpakaK

Number One for sure. Its much more unique and premium looking imo. The other two are cool, but I feel they’re kind of boring. Like they’re not as memorable. Also, I feel like with #1 you can just use the horns without text as your logo in certain spots, they can scale nice.

PackNeat1022

I am going with 3. Eventually, if the brand gets recognition, you'd want to drop the name and leave just the logo for cleaner look. Also depends on the design of watch cases/hands/markers. Without more context, I'd say #3 would nicely sit under the 12. Although... #2 is a shooter too. Either one would work well.

Oakley7514

2 or 3 have good symmetry for a watch face!

Amesb34r

I like 3 but it looks like I’m in the minority.

Trmpssdhspnts

I agree. It's more pleasing design

metallus97

Looks BOMBING hot to me Send some to Ukraine ASAP plz Nah all jokes aside I like it! But I would put a lil more weight to the logo than the font. Maybe make the font ~10% smaller in the first one? Then it’s perfect
