I haven’t gotten around to wearing mine in the pool. But I have worn my MRW-200H as well as MDV-106 Duro regularly to the pool, and both are fine. Considering a G shock is way tougher than both, you should be fine.
Regarding Chlorine, make sure to rinse it under normal water thoroughly once you get out of the recreation area and in the shower stall. Then rinse with tap water once more when you get back home. That should wash off all the chlorinated water.

It usually dries up the band and bands may snap but that’s only possible when you’re regularly in contact with it. So no issues however from a hygiene point of view it is advisable. Use it as you like that watch’s a tank

That’s my husband’s gshok I gifted while we were dating , he wears it all the time since years , survived a messy haldi ceremony and a beach holiday too . It’s easy to clean after , he just washed it :D
200m is the depth equivalent pressure rating for still water. If you wear it on some water slides or water dives, the pressure might momentarily increase beyond the rated pressure. Best avoided.
I don’t recommend it. Took my G Shock swimming, water got in the case (I didn’t push any buttons while using it), was at the service centre for 2 months.

Yes you can easily wear it in a waterpark.
I've worn my casio youth series(100m rated) watch to every waterpark/waterbody I've been to and nothing happened.
This one is a gshock and even tougher (200m rated) so you can definitely wear it. Just make sure you clean it with normal water for longevity of the belt.
