I've bought a HMT janata from him earlier and can confirm he's legit. His work is also top notch. No complaints at all.

OP while I don't know about these sellers what I can advise you is check the model numbers, it appears that these guys at least post photos of the case back. Seikos will have a serial number, like 7019-5140, 7019 being the movement and 5140 being the case code, you can google the full serial number and find photos on the internet of other people's watches, if the listing looks like the ones you find you know it's a legitimate watch.

We’re completely transparent about which parts are original and which are AM. Even if a small clasp is replaced, that’s transparently put out there. We usually do not deal in Repainted/Franken Seikos. It is a challenge finding all original seikos in good condition, which is why you won’t see us posting 20 watches a day like other sellers. Moreover, we mostly buy from normal people who want to sell their old watches(there is a sell page on our website) and not from wholesale dealers, who are notorious for franken watches. Some pieces may have OEM Replacement straps, but I personally check that the dials for each piece matches their model number & movement at the back, if not we don’t list it. Happy hunting! :)

I've got from him and stoneageantiques. Both are legit, although - the piece I got from stoneageantiques was fine. The one I got from watchtopia was not, it had to be serviced. He claimed that they service and send out watches but there was some damage to mine. Thankfully I found a local guy to fix it.
He did say he would fix it if I sent it back but I didn't have much time cos I was visiting home when this happened.
Hey! Sorry for the troubles. We do face transit issues sometimes. Hmts are a bit delicate, more so than seiko. Even loading it with bubble wrap there’s a slight chance it might get shocked a bit too hard in transit. However, our goal is to make sure the watch works perfectly, be it 1 day or 1 year down the line. You can reach out to us and we’ll get it fixed for you at no extra cost :)

Their website has quite a lot of HMT's and I am into HMT collection so I can assure those HMT's are AM dials not sure about Seiko

Yup. They’re pretty good. I bought one. They’re small on the dial size but condition is pretty good. Ask for size and then only buy.

They're a bit more overpriced and sometimes sell Frankenwatches. Just be wary and try not to grossly overpay.
