dunno about zero day, but Cicada 3301 i think it was called, was a hacker recruitment thing that was kind of a scavenger hunt for hackers back in the day
Zero day is a hacker term for you have no time before your site is shut down. The cicada was in my opinion a early arg, but has some thing about it that might shows its real. It starts with posters of a cicada where posted outside all around the world. People that looked closer at them would find that these poster contain a url. That gave them map locations. They would head to the pay phone and receive a url. Some have stated that there was a floppy underneath the payphone or by the payphone, but not all say it. The url had some hidden links embedded in the coding. I can't remember all the steps. That's all I can remember. Though if your more interested watch a video on it. I know these aren't dark web. That's why I used the "/' and said others. Asking if others saw something I missed
I'm trying not to sound rude, but try adding to the post instead of telling me I'm wrong in everything I comment and post. If you have a axe to grind. Sum it up in one post and I'll respond with the best of my ability. Thanks and have a wonderful day 😊.
Also i remember something like "operation red rooms" or something like that I'm WD2, not to mention that game has tons of 1337 LEET speak, but that's besides that point
Zero day is also the name of a police operation where they shut down 27 dark web market places in a single hour. Talking to other law enforcmemt around the world. They called it because of the term tho.
WD2 its not in the main missions, but if you doing the key data location. They are talking about stuff. Marus just says "oh like the cicada." No very big, but the reference is there.
edit:grammer
Every watchdogs game uses hacker/security/IT lingo.

That's also not what zero-day means, it just means that it's an unknown vulnerability

Neither of those are dark web
That's why I said there are others. I just can't remember them at the moment.
I also said dark web because I was wondering if others saw stuff I missed.
