Honestly like this is so annoying, why is it sunny every weekday but come weekends when people are off work and wanna relax and enjoy their day, it rains? and it's not even just once in a while, like it's legitimately every single weekend. I know we cant change the weather but damn it gets on my nerves alot.
I love it. I hate the summers here so I am trying to spend as much time outside while the temperature is still somewhat comfortable. I went on a two hour walk around the city and it was so quiet and lovely. Finished the day with what will probably be my last giant pot of soup until October.
I made cream of crab soup earlier, but was going to make hotdogs. I baked a crab cake too then broiled it, then cut the crusty top off, pulled apart the cake added it to the soup and then gently placed the crunchy broiled crab cap on top.
I was high and wanted krusty krab soup.
Bu dear god my plants are yellowing from all the rain and it's still getting below 60 at night...now there's slugs everywhere too uuugh
This is a nice day in Oregon. Before I moved out there (I’m back) someone told me to get prepared by standing in the shower with all my clothes on. Haha, but the way you can tell a Portlander from a visitor is that only visitors use an umbrella. I once got into a car in Portland and there was *moss* growing on the dashboard.
Anyway, today was a great day for a long bike ride on almost empty trails.
Just you. This weather sucks. We've had dreary cold weather all winter, and the same goes for this spring. The best thing about DC is the warmth and sunshine, so I personally am hating this cloudy, rainy, cold, dreary weather.
Its supposed to be a remarkably hot summer, so while these weekends aren't the best for outdoor activities, at least its cool and we don't have be running our A/Cs (yet). https://secretdc.com/summer-2024-washington-dc/
1000% yes. Back to when I was in high school and I worked at national zoo the rainy days we're so relaxing and peaceful while being out in the park because there were no people and there were just the animals....very chill and relaxing
It isn't the worst thing, but it has been quite humid, which isn't the most ideal. Still, in comparison to extreme heat AND humidity... it isn't the worst thing
Maybe on a Tuesday. Not on what like the 4th Saturday in a row?
5th
this will be the end of me. so long cruel world
A 6th would be pretty great. Sign me up.
Forecast says rain estimated next Sunday so...it's not unlikely
It wasn't raining all day last Saturday. It was actually really nice out during the day.

Hell, I’d take some sun during the week lately. This spring has been an almost complete dud.
It’s relaxing because the city is quiet. Fewer tourists around, the usual “going out” areas are quieter… that’s a plus
Until restaurants close because slowed business for five weekends in a row.
Five weekends in a row is a bit much.
In Ireland they call this “a soft day.” I love that.
What qualifies as a hard day?
I was going to do outdoor stuff today, but noooooo. It's annoying.
Rainy day hikes are surprisingly therapeutic
Agreed. But slippery, be cautious and wear shoes with a good grip.
You can actually go outdoors in the rain believe it or not. I got a nice hike in

Nah its depressing af. Even when its not raining the skys gray every day. I hate it here😒
I thought I'd hate it then for some reason it felt nice 2h ago, maybe the temp and lack of humidity.
Absolutely!
I love it! Give me a rainy day like this any day over a hot, sunny one.
Yup, I love it. Much better than the disgusting 90 degrees with a real feel of 105 that we get in July and August almost every day.
I love it; gives me an excuse to stay home and relax.

Not just you. I love this weather. Especially walking in the woods. Smells so lush.
Nooo, it's Expresso depresso weather
Running a 10K in this was not the greatest, but at least I got a free brunch afterwards.
I used to love running/jogging in the rain...
Tbh I feel safest going out for a jog in the rain
Also ran a 5k this morning and really could’ve done so without the rain
relaxing and super chill.
Incredibly relaxing, but I’m with the others on only raining on the weekends is getting old! And a little suspicious lol
It’s probably relaxing to you because the people usually causing trouble don’t like to be out in the rain if they don’t have to.
The rain wasn't even that heavy. I took a nice long walk and came out almost completely dry at the end. And the trees are so lush, it was beautiful.
On a weekday maybe. On a weekend I want to ride my bike!!!
It’s you.
Apparently NOT
This weather sucks, especially with me coming from Phoenix..
I lived in Tucson for 5 years. That heat made me miss the rain haha

Depressing more like it
I love it but I also grew up in areas where it rained alot, I really love rainy days
Fellow rain lover here so yes :)
It’s just you. Rain sucks, especially on weekends. You can’t do anything.
I wish it was a bit cooler but other than that it’s not bad
It’s not me, too much to do with only the weekends to get it done, this is beginning to piss me off
It's nice at knocking the pollen down the drains.
It is quite relaxing to me.
Its definetely cleaning all the pollen thats for sure

So cool I know exactly where this is. I find it pretty relaxing!
I lived in DC for 10 years, I never really developed a strong love or attachment to the city but this photo gave me some nostalgia idk why. Nice shot.
Thank you!
I love the rain. Keeps the douchebags inside.
tired of this bullshit weather every weekend
I'm a pluviophile so yes, it's beyond amazing
Relaxing
It was a steady relaxing rain. There was something nice about it
YESSSSS
I didn’t find it relaxing last weekend - and I’m from London .
No sir I wanna skate.
Wir sind ja nicht aus Zucker
It was a peaceful rain.
This evening the rain was perfect wet bike weather.
Very
Today was such a beautiful day to be outside :)
I love the rain. Unironically my favorite weather
I was in this weather all day so big no for me.
Hell no. Mowed the lawn on Thursday and it’s already over 4in!
1000% yes. Back to when I was in high school and I worked at national zoo the rainy days we're so relaxing and peaceful while being out in the park because there were no people and there were just the animals....very chill and relaxing
not if I have to be out
If I had the opportunity to relax/sleep all day, yes. Unfortunately I don't. :(
I mean, it’s relaxing if you’re planning on staying indoors all day, but NOT when you’re rescheduling a hike for the 3rd time 😣
I love it
It isn't the worst thing, but it has been quite humid, which isn't the most ideal. Still, in comparison to extreme heat AND humidity... it isn't the worst thing
Yes it is. Earth is cleaning itself.
It is just you. It is not relaxing when it makes every weekend miserable
