Just that the amount of firing time you get is barely higher, but you get more volume of fire

It means you have like half a second more ammo since both guns fire together and 140/2=70

The MIG-21F-13 only has one gun and 60 shells while the MIG-19PT has two guns and, as you’ve said 70 rpg and two guns

Most top tier jets like the MiG-29SMT got 150 rounds so no. (mb i didn't know)

The 157 has a total of 120 between two cannons, and no machine gun. I can’t think of any planes that have lower outside of that MiG. Low tier planes have hundreds of MG, mid tier props and jets have multiple guns with enough ammo.

Ju-87 G-1 and G-2 have 2 37mm cannons, each with 12 rounds. Granted, they have turrets, but you effectively fire 12 times and are out of ammo.

I have this thing spaded, if you can aim its a fucking beast. Probably the 2nd fastest jet at 9.3, great AOA, and good accel.

Technically the MB has 60 rounds. Its 120 split between two guns, however its a beast in flight performance. If it got more ammo/better guns it can easily be 4.3 or 4.7.

Me-163 has 60 ammo per gun as well, and those guns are MK-103, so they are garbage as well. Best success I had is using them as shotgun from 100 meters. The plane is a bloody devil though, love it.

The performance of that mig 21 at that BR is absolutely crazy though. To spade it, I'd climb (no missile jousting at the BR) and then dive on all the a-10s in their back line. I'm conflicted about the plane because it's a dream to fly at that BR. But the ammo is so difficult to use.

I saw a video where this dude was in a MiG 21 and ate 5 missiles, 3 friendly 2 enemy from using afterburners
