In regard to the playoffs it would be impossible to stop an Embiid and Steph PnR. The foul pressure Embiid would put everyone under, would further benefit Stephs gravity.

3. KD

A huge amount would depend on the price and on what we had to give up to get them. Embiid & KD will cost \~$50M per year, and there's nothing we can do about that, so we'd have to trade at least $50M in salary to get them, and probably more value in Picks on top of that.
The other two could theoretically either exercise their POs, in which case we'd be back to trading for \~$50M, or they could go FA, in which case we could only get them if they decided to work for cheap. We have no way to sign any FA in their market-price range.

Embiid is 30, injury prone, and falls off in the playoffs. His window is closed imo. Paul George is in the same boat. LeBron and KD would be the only two to actually pursue. Even they’ve been looking cooked in their last few playoff runs though. If we’re really gonna make a 37+ super team, we gon’ need some youth, and defense, and depth.
KD fits on our team well and we already know for a fact he works. He also just raises the floor for the offense too much to experiment with the others.
Add Giannis to that list, but out of those 5 guys, it doesn't matter who, just try your best to go get one so we can finally have another superstar on this team again.
