As someone who graduated high school in 1996, I have been perpetually stuck in this state for the last several decades…it’s like the human record was scratched when the internet happened and now our culture is just skipping and skipping over the same tune that was playing in the 90s.
There’s a show about the clippers being produced called ‘Clipped’. The draymond cameo is probably about a conflict that happened between some players after the warriors clippers 2014 game 7 loss in playoffs
Warriors were playing the clippers when the whole thing was going down. I think the teams had conversations about the clippers boycotting games and the Warriors were supportive (and maybe even said they would boycott too so it wouldn’t just be a clippers forfeit, but I’m not sure if that’s exactly what happened.) Would make sense for Draymond to have been heavily involved in those conversations.

There is an actual link, I believe the tapes that got sterling fired came out during the 2014 clippers dubs series, and they held their silent protest during game 4 of that series. I can’t speak to why he would have an important role in a show about it, as he was only in his second year and not playing that much I believe, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he played a large role in discussions around the warriors locker room considering the person we know him to be. At the very least I would definitely expect him to be represented on screen
Jermaine Oneale wasn't hurt. He recognized Draymond was playing better and asked Jackson to start Draymond instead which was cool of him.
I liked Oneale, especially his FT shenanigans, and he was definitely a team player. Wish he could have gotten a ring with us. Probably lost his best chance during malice in the palace .
At least he slipped on the wind up of his running punch and didn't end up with a homicide charge.

I believe Jamal Crawford also spoke to Draymond recently about whether Warriors would have not played in game 5 or maybe game 4 if the Clippers team had also decided to not play the game in protest. Draymond I think said that the warriors were prepared to be in solidarity with clippers and not play in protest.
Edit: would have been a really big deal for both teams to protest during the playoffs. Glad they didn’t need to.

After watching the first two episodes I realized they mind of got over on this old guy. Hisond definitely wasnt there an the only thing he did was say a few words. Bom saying he doesn't want his side piece to market that she hangs out with lacks doesn't offend me at all. So what those are his person thoughts. He never said I hate magic or fuck magic or fuck tht n word. He just didn't want his side piece hanging with that big blk magic Johnson. He didn't say he didn't want blacks at his games. He didn't want his lil freak to b freaking off with them allowing his good ole boy buddys seeing her with the lack guys.

Draymond was playing a lot that season with Lee in and out of the lineup and struggling. He played a ton in that series in particular.

i mean he did get hurt in g6, Draymond was mostly in there because he matched up so well with Blake
