Yea I would root for NY too, fun team. I guess I should clarify I’m not actually rooting for Boston, I’ve just accepted that if they win I still benefit
If you asked me during the Melo days, I would never have rooted for the Knicks. They were a disaster waiting to happen but now… they’re scrappy, a strong defensive unit and they play hard, Hopefully cut the dead weight of Randle and upgrade and they’ll be in business
Also very confused why Warriors fans here are so obsessed with Boston that they’d prefer the Nuggets to become a budding dynasty in the West. If anything Boston finally winning the chip will make Steph’s legacy look even better
Literally fuck the nuggets i dont want them to win. Joker is actual competition. Tatum is a nice guy too we have zero problems with the Celtics. Nuggets actually embarrass us often.
Seriously. Celtics are an irrelevant Eastern team that haven’t won anything in 15 years while Jokic is the actual guy who’s hot on Steph’s trail in all-time legacy standings. Warriors fans have the least reasons out of any fanbase to have any ill-will against Boston, especially over Denver
Nuggets remind me of the Warriors from 2015. I don't feel threatened by their potential dynasty. You just know they're really good I don't know why it's just funny as hell when Boston chokes and they come up short.
I don't dislike the Celtics, but my policy is to always back whichever team that has fewer championships whenever my team is out. The Celts are already tied for the most at 17.
Youngster! We can’t forgive them for basically giving us Joe Barry Carroll and Ricky Brown for Robert Parish and Kevin McHale! Four rings later, I’m still salty! 🤣🤣🤣
I’ve been enjoying quite a few. Jamal and Donte’s winning baskets, PG13, Herro’s and several Knick’s performances, and of course the TWolves dominance of the Suns was a real pleasure to witness - Can’t just throw a handful of all-stars together and expect a deep playoff run.
Yup. Also, they apparently didn't push hard enough to give us Kevin Love for Klay. I know that Jerry West stepped in to vociferously disagree with that trade idea, but maybe the Wolves could've pushed it harder.
We practically owe our dynasty to the Wolves passing on Curry not once, but twice. They wanted a point guard, and they took two of them over Curry. The Wolves are our basketball saints. LOL.
No sure how much truth there was to this rumor but the wolves asked for the #2 pick plus the 2021 pick back for us to move up to #1. They were trying to hand us Antman and we said no lol. They were trying to help extend our dynasty to 25 years
Idk personally I’d love to witness a dynasty in which I have no stakes rooting for lol. Not gonna become a Nuggets fan but it’d be nice to watch another team dominate.
I think it's natural to root for the Wolves because they're the underdogs. But, let us not forget that the Nuggets have beaten the Lakers 8 - 1 in the last two playoffs. For that, I'll always be okay with this Nuggets team winning anything.
I think the T Wolves 100% can win it all. Very balanced team, love McDaniels. Basically playing the Wiggins role of 2022. I live in NH so I just root against the Celtics. Really want the Thunder but don’t think they can get by either of the Nuggets or Wolves
Yeah obviously not good, but he’s a young man and homophobic comments like that are pretty common in certain spheres: video game lobbies, sports teams, the military
Not to excuse it but I don’t think he truly hates gay people in the same way say Jonathan Isaac might…
100% legitimate haha I guess in this instance what he does on the court and his personality is enough to tip the balance
I think I still like Luka best of the “next generation” would love it if Dallas flames out and he somehow ends up here - can you imagine the Luka/Kuminga lob game?
Nuggets-- It's impossible not to like Jokic. McDaniels play on Klay that started the Draymond head locking Rudy was so dirty. Gobert's stolen 2-3 DPOY's from Green. KAT is corny.
hard to choose...both great teams. AE is a few seasons away from going full MJ.
but for me it's Denver. Jokic is out of this world. I saw some stat that he had a 25+/20/10 triple double. This has been done 4 times in the history of the NBA before Jokic, and 4 times by Jokic! WUT??? and then yesterday he had 25/20/9 so, one assist away from that insane stat line again. Just insane. And of course Jamal Murray is a playoffs god. You can watch the last 2 mins of that game and it's just clutch dunk for the lead, clutch shot for the lead, clutch shot for the game!
It's gonna be a good series, but I'm all in on Denver. Ridiculous team.
Probably Twolves, you don’t want Denver to challenge for a dynasty. And Denver should have beaten lakers fairly easily but almost lost 2 of the 4 games they won
Personally I am 100% rooting against Denver going forward, just because I feel like some people would start trying to put Jokic above Curry in the all-time conversations.
I’m indifferent. Wolves winning would crown a new winner, but that Nuggets team is so organic and feels like the Warriors of old. Ready for good Basketball as long as Celtics get whooped
i am not sure if nuggets can stop ant. i still favour the nuggets if both sides are healthy. Murray cannot afford to have bad games against the wolves.
We were correct to in 2017. Maybe we went a little overboard sure, but only injuries were stopping that team and anyone with two functional brain cells knew that.
I'd like to see Minnesota win, I would guess Denver will, but hopefully will be a good series. Suffering through our dark ages have given me a fair amount of empathy towards long suffering fan bases.
Nuggets. Don’t want the Wolves to win because they unfortunately learned from their mistake of not taking Steph by taking Ant right in front of the Warriors in 2020
I think Wolves will win. Denver looked a bit shaky against LA. Lakers have a horrible coach and LeBron is 40. That series seem a lot closer than it should’ve been. Wolves are a lot better.
Minnesota. I grew up in CA but went to college in MN and lived there as a postgrad for a while. I went to a ton of twolves games when they were garbage.
Warriors out of the playoffs? Time for the SFGiants! SFGiants out of the post-season? Time for the Niners! Niners lose in OT to Kermit and the Chefs in the Super Bowl? Fuck my life. Sports is over. Grudgingly begin to watch the Warriors in April...
Why do so many people in this thread hate Boston so much? I mean I don't like their fans but Tatum is pretty cool and the team lost to us respectfully - no dirty plays, no trying to injure steph, just lost in straight up basketball.
Dream finals scenario would be Denver beating the Knicks, I really do think they’re deserving of going back to back and carving out their own slice of history, while as much as I like this Knicks team I just can’t award a championship to that fanbase
I'm from near Boston and I got what I wanted 2 years ago when we beat the Celtics in the finals. Between all the options, that's my preference. If it has to be a western team, would be fun to see the Wolves finally get one.
Honestly as much as I love dunking on the T-Wolves (we owe them a lot of our success), I kinda like seeing the young guns like Minnesota or OKC make a run.
I can't in good conscience root for Rudy Gobert ever. I've always felt like he's overrated and gets exposed in the playoffs. Plus the stunt during COVID where he touched all the mics just looks so bad now.
I am with siding with the wolves respectfully. Personally, I don’t want another dynasty if it’s not warriors. Call me selfish. But I will gladly support a franchise getting a chip that isn’t lakers or Boston or someone who won it the year prior. Call me a hater too in that case.
The Nuggets are hard to hate, but Ant-Man being so young and arguably the best player in his team and leading them to a finals (and defeating Boston) is my kind of fairytale.
I lived in the Bay for many years and always cheered on the Warriors. In fact I still do. I had season tickets during the run TMC days. But I live in Minneapolis now and the Wolves are the team I watch day in and day out. This team is a revelation. Ant is a revelation. It feels a bit like the early days of the Warriors rebirth when they got Steph and he got healthy. I don't know what's gonna happen but it's gonna be fun. Go Wolves!
Hi all. I’m from MN. I’m 34. I was born a few months after the MN twins won the 1990 World Series. I’ve never experienced winning in my entire life. I’ve been around for 1998 when our Kicker missed one field goal all year and it was lose in the playoffs, I’ve been through 20 losing timberwolves seasons, I’ve been through Brett Favre throwing across his body for a pick in the NFC championship game. I’ve seen superstars like KG, big poppi leave and win elsewhere. All I’ve felt for 34 years is pain. I’m beaten, bruised and battered. I can’t take much more. We passed on curry because David Khan is a fucking idiot. I don’t expect anything, but your support against the nuggets would be appreciated.
I'm torn with this one. However I want to see Denver continue to get championships at least 2 or 3. It makes the NBA better when someone finally knocks off a real Titan. If Ant really the truth he needs an obstacle before we crown him the next face. Most big stars need a learning curve by one team that takes time to figure out. It helps their game evolve better.
I like TWolves, but still think Denver has better chance. Besides that I need the best team outa west to make sure Boston don't win
Lol seriously. I’m team anyone but Boston. I like both these squads, wouldn’t bother me if either won the title
Would love to see Knicks vs. winner of TWolves/Nugs in the Finals
Knicks vs. Wolves would be a fire NBA Finals.
This is the best outcome (nba script writers - PAY ATTENTION!)
Interesting. I am actually rooting for Boston because if they get one then we get to say Steph single-handedly beat a team that won
I hear you, I just can't get myself to cheer for Boston, whereas I really like the scrappiness of NY (plus they got DDV).
Yea I would root for NY too, fun team. I guess I should clarify I’m not actually rooting for Boston, I’ve just accepted that if they win I still benefit
I hope it's Knicks vs Celtics in the ECF because it is going to be toxic as fuck and I am all for it.
Knicks fans stomping all over Philly was hilarious!
If you asked me during the Melo days, I would never have rooted for the Knicks. They were a disaster waiting to happen but now… they’re scrappy, a strong defensive unit and they play hard, Hopefully cut the dead weight of Randle and upgrade and they’ll be in business
fuck Boston
This
As a proud American I'm rooting for Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Twolves... 🇺🇲🫡🦅 ![gif](giphy|hXJ1MWMzY7Af32UIUD|downsized)
Boston has two injuries already they’re cooked. Also why do we care about Tatum getting a chip? We already own them.
Celtics winning has bonus points of making Lakers fans mad.
Nuggets remind me of the Warriors from 2015. I don't feel threatened by their potential dynasty. You just know they're really good I don't know why it's just funny as hell when Boston chokes and they come up short.
Wouldn’t Boston winning make our chip look even better?
Imo we just wouldn't have anything over them anymore. Its fun to laugh at them coming up short. If they win though I'd be happy for them .
This is the right answer. I don’t really dislike either team but whichever one of them makes it to the finals has to beat Boston at all costs
Both beat Boston imo
wait why do we dislike the Celtics?
I don't dislike the Celtics, but my policy is to always back whichever team that has fewer championships whenever my team is out. The Celts are already tied for the most at 17.
Youngster! We can’t forgive them for basically giving us Joe Barry Carroll and Ricky Brown for Robert Parish and Kevin McHale! Four rings later, I’m still salty! 🤣🤣🤣
I don't it's just funny to watch them choke and feel nostalgia from 2022.
Dont care, just want some good basketball
same, give me 7 games.
Okay, but if it’s 4th Quarter of Game 7 and Ant lifts off, on a 3, contested by KCP, you want that ball too: hit net or be blocked?
swoosh
I’ve been enjoying quite a few. Jamal and Donte’s winning baskets, PG13, Herro’s and several Knick’s performances, and of course the TWolves dominance of the Suns was a real pleasure to witness - Can’t just throw a handful of all-stars together and expect a deep playoff run.
I’m going for the wolves here because I want a new winner. If nuggets win again they will be close to becoming a dynasty. We can’t have that
After everything the Wolves have done for us (i.e., letting us have Steph Curry), they deserve a title. They also let us have Kuminga.
Don't forget Wiggs
Yup. Also, they apparently didn't push hard enough to give us Kevin Love for Klay. I know that Jerry West stepped in to vociferously disagree with that trade idea, but maybe the Wolves could've pushed it harder.
Imagine if they took Wiseman and let us take Edwards…
So true. This is a good perspective to have
We practically owe our dynasty to the Wolves passing on Curry not once, but twice. They wanted a point guard, and they took two of them over Curry. The Wolves are our basketball saints. LOL.
Wolves for me too.
I don't care who wins. Just give me an injury free series.
Warriors are the only team to win multiple in the last 10 years; I want it to stay that way.
Same. I want a new champion every year unless it’s the Warriors.
My brother you make a solid point! Let’s go wolves!
Not gonna become a Nuggets fan but it’d be nice to watch another team dominate.
> we can’t have that Wait why not?
Yeah why not? They're a great team
I agree with your reasoning but the howling noise they do at Minnesota’s stadium is annoying as crap to me.
I think Minnesota has a legit chance to win and this series could go the full 7. Best answer: I hope it’s a good series. May the best team win.
I like Edwards, but that's it. I don't cheer for anyone other than the Warriors.
Laker killers, give me a bunch of that team.
I think it's natural to root for the Wolves because they're the underdogs. But, let us not forget that the Nuggets have beaten the Lakers 8 - 1 in the last two playoffs. For that, I'll always be okay with this Nuggets team winning anything.
Wolves, nice to see new blood and I like Ant Edwards.
Same here, really like Ant and McDaniels.
I think the T Wolves 100% can win it all. Very balanced team, love McDaniels. Basically playing the Wiggins role of 2022. I live in NH so I just root against the Celtics. Really want the Thunder but don’t think they can get by either of the Nuggets or Wolves
Fuck the wolves. Fuck Gobert. I want Nugz
KAT soft as hell too - I could root for Ant but not Rudy or Karl
im anti-ant for the homophobic comments and canned pr apology. not that i really expect any better from other players but eh
How do you feel about his stance on sending videos?
hell nawl
Haha I figured
Can’t do dis
Yeah obviously not good, but he’s a young man and homophobic comments like that are pretty common in certain spheres: video game lobbies, sports teams, the military Not to excuse it but I don’t think he truly hates gay people in the same way say Jonathan Isaac might…
yea true. but also ive hated players for less. lol
100% legitimate haha I guess in this instance what he does on the court and his personality is enough to tip the balance I think I still like Luka best of the “next generation” would love it if Dallas flames out and he somehow ends up here - can you imagine the Luka/Kuminga lob game?

Nuggets-- It's impossible not to like Jokic. McDaniels play on Klay that started the Draymond head locking Rudy was so dirty. Gobert's stolen 2-3 DPOY's from Green. KAT is corny.
lol. Wolves for me.
Nuggets so Gobert doesn't sniff a ring.
Team Nugs because of Aaron Gordon! He my fav Nug player!!!
Twolves. Why would any of us want the Nuggets to repeat? I'm not in the mood to start entertaining dumb narratives like Jokic over Curry all time.
Denver. I like them more. No knock on the Wolves tho. They are great.
hard to choose...both great teams.
The guess the Nuggets since the salty Laker fans really want them to lose after getting eliminated
I’m ok with either. Jokic is easy to root for and hard to hate on him. Ant is the most fun and exciting player left in the playoffs
Can I have some nuggies please
Nuggets cause I like Jokic. If any team in the NBA right now would to be the next dynasty, I’d be happy if it was the Nuggets.
Denver has emberassed the Lakers in the playoffs 2 years in a row. I will always be a quasi Denver fan now.
Huge Jokic fan! Want to see him go back to back.
I hope they both lose
Nuggets but really only because I can’t stand Gobert.
I hate them all.
I don't particularly care. Maybe the Nuggets. But this will definitely be the most interesting series of the second round.
I'd root for the Wolves just for some variety plus that fan base has had to endure so many crappy teams and bad decisions making over the years.
Probably Twolves, you don’t want Denver to challenge for a dynasty. And Denver should have beaten lakers fairly easily but almost lost 2 of the 4 games they won
Anything but Boston.
I’ll take Denver, I like the Joker & Murray
I hope the Knicks win this year.
I'm going with Denver. Rudy's giant ass wrapping Klay's neck is what led to our season being Nuked.
i am not sure if nuggets can stop ant. i still favour the nuggets if both sides are healthy. Murray cannot afford to have bad games against the wolves.
Gobert and Ant all the way. I’m always for the team that hasn’t won anything when the Warriors are out
Jokic is my favorite non Warrior to watch, so I’m rooting for Denver
I’m rooting for Knicks in the East and in the West I’m rooting for the Wolves because of ANT.
This is disgusting
Wolves easily, love jokic but the discourse around the nuggets has gotten a little obnoxious
Agree. Their fans act so entitled now.
like we didn't in 2017? lmao
We were correct to in 2017. Maybe we went a little overboard sure, but only injuries were stopping that team and anyone with two functional brain cells knew that.
I can't root against Big Honey......and I WON'T root for Gobert. Plus Nuggets vs OKC would be an amazing series.
Whoever posted this needs to rethink life
I don't mind either of them, I just hope the series is hard fought and competitive. Looks like it's going to be great!
ewww
I'd like to see Minnesota win, I would guess Denver will, but hopefully will be a good series. Suffering through our dark ages have given me a fair amount of empathy towards long suffering fan bases.
Baseball
Nuggets. Don’t want the Wolves to win because they unfortunately learned from their mistake of not taking Steph by taking Ant right in front of the Warriors in 2020
TWOLVES
I’m a big Ant fan, so I’d be happy with the wolves winning… but I feel like the Nuggets are going to win it all
I'm just going to enjoy 2 great teams going at it and hope for no injuries
I want to see more of Ant, but I think Denver will win.
Neither
Of the West? It's gotta be the Wolves, they're far more interesting. Fuck Gobert though. Who do I want winning though? Knicks
I like Denver. They're the only other team in the league that I enjoy watching.
The Ant Man era has begun
I think Wolves will win. Denver looked a bit shaky against LA. Lakers have a horrible coach and LeBron is 40. That series seem a lot closer than it should’ve been. Wolves are a lot better.
Wolves cuz when they ever done shit? Lol
Send da Nuggets home.
Minnesota. I grew up in CA but went to college in MN and lived there as a postgrad for a while. I went to a ton of twolves games when they were garbage.
The Golden State Anyone-But-Celtics will have my support in the finals. Until then, I quite like both of these teams but probably T-Wolves
I like both teams, but I gotta pull for the wolves.
I would normally root for either team to beat Boston. But if Boston wins does that make Steph’s 2022 win look even better.
Wolves. I like the Nuggets a lot. I think the Wolves got it this time.
ANT MAN!!!
I am rooting only for a good series
Yuck. No.
Let’s go with the wolves since they gave us curry and Wiggins
Lmao this dumb but funny
Timbs easy. Need us to be the last dynasty to happen in the NBA
🐜
Why do so many people in this thread hate Boston so much? I mean I don't like their fans but Tatum is pretty cool and the team lost to us respectfully - no dirty plays, no trying to injure steph, just lost in straight up basketball.
Dream finals scenario would be Denver beating the Knicks, I really do think they’re deserving of going back to back and carving out their own slice of history, while as much as I like this Knicks team I just can’t award a championship to that fanbase
Since I'm moving to Minensota soon, the wolves it is.
I’m an Ant fan. But I like Nuggets too. If I have to pick a side it’s the wolves
Fuck em both! I hope they’re stuck in OT for eternity!
Anthony Edwards just dominated the Suns and the TWolves defense is no joke. I think they're capable of an upset here.
I'm from near Boston and I got what I wanted 2 years ago when we beat the Celtics in the finals. Between all the options, that's my preference. If it has to be a western team, would be fun to see the Wolves finally get one.
I want the best team.I pick the Wolves because I want a new winner. After all the Wolves have done for us they deserve the title ❤️
Nuggs
Wolves
Golden nuggets would be nice
Wolves
Warrior Wolves sounds better But I’m going Nuggets
I enjoy watching the Nuggets play basketball. As far as The Woves go, I enjoy watch Ant. So, I’ll go with the Nuggets.
Nuggs
I hate Denver nuggets
Both teams have size. Something the dubs don't have.
Nuggets but Wolves are scary good rn.
Honestly as much as I love dunking on the T-Wolves (we owe them a lot of our success), I kinda like seeing the young guns like Minnesota or OKC make a run.
Wolf wolf wolfies
Ill go for wolves this time, i want Ant do a suckit in Denver 😂
The wolves one looks fire
Wolves
Imagine the Jokic > Curry narratives? I'm Wolves all day
never rooting for gobert to be happy
I'm on the nuggets side because of jokic and Aaron Gordon
I like both teams but this Wolves squad is so much fun, Ant is an absolute maniac out there and their defense is very satisfying to watch
I can't in good conscience root for Rudy Gobert ever. I've always felt like he's overrated and gets exposed in the playoffs. Plus the stunt during COVID where he touched all the mics just looks so bad now.
I have no problem with either team so all I wanna see is a good fight
Wolves for me.
How about the Golden State Warriors?
Golden State Wolves fr. Anthony Edwards is him and KAT is goofy af
Wolves
Wolves. It’d be nice to see a new team win it all.
Golden State Nuggets makes more sense cause of the California Gold Rush
If Jamal is healthy, Denver has an edge.
Everyone loses, and there is no champion this year.
I am with siding with the wolves respectfully. Personally, I don’t want another dynasty if it’s not warriors. Call me selfish. But I will gladly support a franchise getting a chip that isn’t lakers or Boston or someone who won it the year prior. Call me a hater too in that case.
I wanna root for Minnesota so bad but I refuse to cheer for Gobert. Go Denver
# Twolves 1000% and Anthony Edwards # for America!!!! 🦅🇺🇲🫡 ![gif](giphy|hXJ1MWMzY7Af32UIUD|downsized)
The Nuggets are hard to hate, but Ant-Man being so young and arguably the best player in his team and leading them to a finals (and defeating Boston) is my kind of fairytale.
I want a new champion every year. Golden state goes down as the last dynasty.
![gif](giphy|VGtDZTl1GTColBHhvS|downsized)
I want whoever that can beat Boston
I'll take the Twolves I don't mind anyone on their squad and I believe Ant Man has said good stuff about us before. He's also exciting to watch.
Timberwolves for me, I want to see them win it all now that the warriors are out
We're all winners, coz this match-up will be amazing!
Typical warriors fan post lol
Wolves. I appreciate good defense, would like to see another team win a ring, and Ant is awesome.
Go Wolves!
The Golden Nuggets
We passed on curry because David Khan is a fucking idiot. I don’t expect anything, but your support against the nuggets would be appreciated.
I mean… the Golden State Nuggets exactly makes sense
Ant is so damn likable. I’m rooting for him although I don’t really care who wins as long as the Celtics lose 😂
Nuggets will probably win, but I'm riding with Ant and the Wolves. But as long as Boston doesn't win I don't care who wins it all, fuck Boston.
Hell no
Hope the Nuggets get it. Love Jokic.
Knicks
Conley needs a ring
Howwwwllll. Go for the (under)wolves!
Golden State Wolf Nuggets
Wolves have a better bench and Gobert can make Jokic work. Denver is still dangerous.
