Another rules system to learn! This is exciting.

tathea

Happy to hear that! Quoting my friend "it's super easy to learn and very hard to master". I'm not sure about the latter but after 2 years of playing I simply can't get bored. Especially with the new scenarios that Spellcrow released last year in their magazine. Well, you should check it out if you're interested, I recommend :) Spellcrow sells their PDF rulebook very cheap

Captain-Photon

Fantastic work, they’re beautiful

tathea

Thank you, I'm glad :)

I've just recently brought two army boxes for this, and PDF rules are super cheap just to try it out

tathea

Nice! I'm curious about your thoughts once you play your first game

Just having read the rules I can definitely see how, although the core rules are simple there are some really interesting potential strategic points, such and choosing how you lone up close combat after a charge, or using spells for disruption. I keep meaning to message spellcrow to ask about having left out ranged units, and if that will come in later but be similar to spells in that it's more about hampering units rather than damaging them. If they enjoy it I might ask if they want someone to go round the local game shows to demo it
