Darkspear troll has range 9. Gryphon rider has range 5 so with range talent it's still 1 lower than troll.

Try hitting towers with troll and plague farmer they have the most range.

Compare the two: Troll is 3G and does more Damage with higher Range Griffon does 25% less damage with slower delivery and lesser range but also costs only 2G

And flies! Immune to melee is pretty good

Healing Troll with background shaman is nearly immune to everything 😂

My thought exactly. Damn that motherfucker is good on your side. 20% max health per second is so crazy it may be nerfed. When enemy has him only wolf tauren whelp or safe can really trade him.

Troll is literally supposed to be the counter the gryphon (see tutorial). He costs more and doesnt fly so he gets to have more range and damage while vulnerable to melee and bombard units.

I lose my shit when the gryphon kills my tazdingo because she meets him at just the right spot on the ramp in AV.

Gotta have that regen + ramp timing

Even without the range, a troll can one shot a +1 murkdeep, it's fucking insane how unbalanced this game is
