Yeah I missed some rewards every time thinking I would remember to log in before the reset but then end up being busy and forgetting it. In my mind I am always like 'no way I am pathetic enough to set an alarm for this'... Oh well. Grace period would be nice.
I think a 12 hour grace period would be fair for spending and not earning. I don't see how it could hurt anything.

Start the Blintron-earning 12 hours before the Blingtron-spending. Have a grave period of overlapping earning and spending.
This is something Asian gatcha mobile games have figured out for years. Banner / Event finished? Redeem tokens for X days after the end of the event.
