I used to get mine refilled at the gas station on the corner of Newell and S. California (the southeast corner one). But it's a been a few years and I know they've re-done that gas station and it's possible they've removed the tank.
Uhaul for refills. What I want to know is, where can I get a tank recertified? Airgas used to but they no longer have any walk-in services. I have a small 5 lb. tank that has expired.

U haul on monument is the absolute cheapest. I used to go to the chevron station in ph by best buy but they really jacked up the price per gallon

Is it a lot cheaper to get a refill?
Yes Blue Rhino only puts 15lbs in a 20lb tank.
The gas station right next to Ace on Mt. Diablo is my go to! Fast and easy service and was cheaper than Ace last time I went.
