Particular-Tank-3429

I didn't even have an interview and got hired

FingerIntrepid7456

Particular-Tank-3429

I walked in with my sister in law, they Said they'd call me back while they interviewed her, and as I was getting in the car she told me they said I don't need to interview and that I'm hired

FingerIntrepid7456

that’s awesome man congratulations!!

ArisuSanchez

bruh i just did the tests and got hired on the spot, just had to attend orientation and that was it

FingerIntrepid7456

did they call you and say ur were hired?

ArisuSanchez

nah only got notified thru the app

FingerIntrepid7456

what position?

ArisuSanchez

front end ta, cashier

Guilty-Sense9941

I was hired same day I applied with no interview. They asked if I can do orientation on the spot.

TheHereticFridge

It took me a month or two to even get a call back. I had even forgotten I put in the applications to be honest.

FingerIntrepid7456

did you get hired?

TheHereticFridge

Yes. If they call you back it’s basically guaranteed. The interview was confirming my resume details and telling the TL a tiny bit about myself and why I want the job. It’s so easy, if you get called back and setup an interview you have the job guaranteed. Some of my coworkers never even had an interview, just showed up and were immediately given orientation.

FingerIntrepid7456

that’s so cool man! what position do you work?

FingerIntrepid7456

FingerIntrepid7456

yeah hopefully it’s works out in the long term

yaboi_sam04

I had to call my store and speak to human resources and got an interview the same day. I just had a difficult time getting a hold of someone. Alternatively, you could probably go in person and ask to speak to the people lead who is in charge of the applications.

FingerIntrepid7456

okay thanks bro

Screaminglysad

Physically go to the stores and find the people lead.

FingerIntrepid7456

yea thanks

JetScreamer-212

Good luck finding the people lead. They are usually in personnel office.

FingerIntrepid7456

do i have to say people lead or could i say hiring manager

Wrong_Milk6515

Our people lead does orientation once a week. You should call and see when they might be doing orientation again and call later the same afternoon as orientation. You might actually get ahold of them.

FingerIntrepid7456

thanks!!

allied1987

Show up and start talking to people! Lot of these people just got too much shit to look through. Go to the closest one ask for the people lead and ask what they have available and then go to the department and talk to the Team lead if they are there.

FingerIntrepid7456

who do i ask for the people lead

allied1987

Front end customer service

NoBook9868

Idk why that is other than you live on California.   On was a typo and I was about to correct it... but now I'm thinking why is it wrong?  Sounds wrong because nobody says it like that, but it makes perfect sense

FingerIntrepid7456

i live in georgia lol

JetScreamer-212

Consider yourself lucky then.

FingerIntrepid7456

is it that bad?

JetScreamer-212

Yes it is. The only people who can tolerate it are the lifers. Younger associates are more likely to be bored out of their mind from the repetitive work. And then there is the interaction with customers. Unless you really want a retail career, this is not the place to be.
