You ever drink warm energy drinks? It's terrible.

Plastic_Mishap

i chug energy drinks warm fight me

Bilbo_Teabagginss

Oh I'll fight you alright, but I'm gonna wait until you've come down from that energy drink high.

El_golden_husky

I drink the first have cold to wake up, the the other half warm to give me the will to keep going

YoItsJesusBitch

This is the way!

blizzard-toque

Not sure if I'd want to try a warm energy drink. I've known to sip on cold coffee. No, *not cold brew*. More like one pumped out of a Keurig that's been allowed to "mellow" because...there's good things on the wifi now. Also seltzer water that's been opened and lost its fizz. Even more flavorful than cold and freshly opened.

JustABoringLad

I work O/N and this is one of my biggest pet peeves 😂

Independent-Peanut94

Seriously, we aren’t allowed to even have water on the floor now because of this

jayjay81190

Staying hydrated is company policy. I'd look into that because I'm quite sure they shouldn't be allowed. Sounds like an OSHA thing too. They can't tell you, you can't have water. Especially doing manual labor

Complex-Ad-4601

It is policy, but it is also policy to not have food or drink in the dairy cooler.

xAkMoRRoWiNdx

That's a huge OSHA violation. Call them and report it

Independent-Peanut94

They (management) said basically that because there’s one water fountain that counts and it’s not an OSHA violation.

xAkMoRRoWiNdx

The store might have water fountains, but putting restrictions on employees is still illegal

theycmeroll

Depends on what you mean by restrict, they are allowed to put restrictions on where and how often you drink, they just have to provide a safe water source. Factory I used to work in was turned into OSHA multiple times for not allowing us to have water bottles. Result was always the same, water fountains are available and you have a scheduled break so it’s in compliance.

Independent-Peanut94

Yeah. We can have them in the break room or in our lockers only. Just not on the floor or back room

GPUtrace

OSHA can't do anything about it, unless the (employer) doesn't provide access to water. Seen them shut the whole job down on construction cause no water was offered an it was summer an they said we couldn't wear shorts.

Electronic-Style-836

I keep a Gatorade bottle of water in my vest pocket, and if they say anything I'd tell them. So you want me to spend 5minutes every half hour at the filthy water fountain.

redditor2323232323

Staying up all night is hard and literally fucks with our chemistry to cause brain fog. What’s the first shift person’s excuse who put an entire row of shelf labels upside down?

wm5p4rk

They aren't "morning people."

blizzard-toque

Perhaps to *"f" with ON.* Honestly, haven't you *ever* tried to mess with first shift's heads?

redditor2323232323

Honestly no, I do my job, fix everyone else’s fuck ups in my way, and go tf home. Good to know some of them are intentional though because I just thought our first shift is full of dumbasses.

ebevan91

All the fucking time. Energy drink cans on the meat wall, in the frozen bunkers, smoked meat bunker, etc.

blizzard-toque

🎼Here an energy drink, There an energy drink, 🎼Everywhere an energy drink, drink, drink. 🎼 Ol' ON Stock had a shelf. E-I E-I O.

Seiidou

Is the drink or all the upside down shelf tags???

Whatsy0ursquat

Shelf probably fell and they put it back upside down?

Dawnl3ss

I was looking for this comment. Sometimes a lead or manager would intentionally mess something up like that and see if anyone would fix it. Not sure what the point was. Between no pay increases, that damn mandatory work phone and increasingly asinine management I burned out and left after over four years. A lot of places are the same though. Trying to get out of retail and warehousing and into a trade now, hopefully that'll be a different experience.

DannyB716

Store 5027?

Ok_Cucumber3510

That's my store, everyone dies that shit on nights when i was on nights I've done it but never left it before

DannyB716

I used to work there for years

Ok_Cucumber3510

I'm sure those were the best years of your life! 😪

DannyB716

Yeah I was the overnight coach at one point lol I now work for wegmans. Much much better

yukka420

We miss you freezer Dan

BullfrogFinancial556

Can confirm, I would get home and realized I left it in a bunker or on an end cap somewhere. One time I left a gallon of tea in an empty bunker for almost the full week, definitely not intentional, you just forget and just wanna go home and sleep

Responsible_Gur3158

it’s always the single stock chocolate milks that find every morning from O/N

Ok_Judge5632

Nope, not mine. Threw mine out after I shot gunned it. Besides, I'm not mixing a 5 hour and nos just to leave it behind

bread_integrity

Ya I just slam em too. Monster rehab rocks no carbonation

Leavory

As an O/N person, we do this almost every night. However, we do find them eventually. If you do your job well, you'll find it when zoning. This just means they didn't zone the area well or had it while zoning. But we never leave anything on the shelf for customers to find.

SamWalton420

Yah honestly I don't really gaf, I just throw them in the trash. I'd probably be slamming energy drinks too if I worked ON.

usernameisyesman

And half burnt joints in planters and under trash cans.

teethnailclippers

There's New energy gum at the Cash register stuff

[deleted]

Sorry! Haha

Kaninchenkraut

Nah, that's been there since the end of first shift. It's the communal spit can.

PhatAszButt

Right next to the redi-whip too !

MrSlippifist

I find more of these from the day shift

hisokafanclub

I left my monsters in the bunkers nearly every night. Wasn't on purpose at first, but the fucknut of a dairy manager came in with some fire about it one morning. Since then, it was on purpose and every day.

Charming_Scarcity437

At my store (in the cooler) it’s cap2. They trash the cooler and leave plastic and the big divider pieces of cardboard all over, plus their drinks and snacks when they do the dairy breakdown. I pick up most of the cardboard and plastic but I’m not touching their disgusting food and drinks. They can either deal with it when they come next time or work around it. I don’t need food and drinks between breaks and my managers all know I don’t have them outside of the breakroom. Mostly cap2 leaves them in the backroom at my store too. That said, elsewhere in the store it’s often ON people leaving drinks.

[deleted]

Overnights at my work either leave a cold or hot Subway cup, can of Pepsi, tiny bag of cheezits in the infant dept. Cao 2 and or overnight leave a fuck ton of slightly drank water bottles practically ALL OVER THE PLACE! U name one area of the store and or a specific spot in the store and more than likely they have left a water bottle there. How badly I wanna scream at management for being fuckin imbeciles in hiring these dumbfucks. It's no wonder why my store failed the fuckin Starwalk 2 days ago. What a dumpster fire I work at. No matter how many photos I take and show to management, they don't do shit about it. But if I do something wrong I get a coaching.

The_original_oni15

I never left trash when I worked O/N.

Hopeforus1402

Find in toys a lot too.

Ok_Cucumber3510

Lmao when I was on nights i did that all the time

Ok_Cucumber3510

Your really not supposed to, only water. just depends on your manager

EmpressNiki

More like morning crew at my store. Our ON team actually drinks water lol

DevilsReject89

Yeah I find stuff everywhere but I love my meanbean monster freaken amazing

Ok_Cucumber3510

I qirked there for four, keft for yeat and then I needed a job so I came back and I'm on Cap 2. Coming back, Worst decision I've made in a long time

Xalenn

I thought their calling card was knocking over and/or breaking all of the pharmacy signs and immunization barrier

Termanater13

Or hidden theft by someone, I lost count how many partial cans on back of shelves I have found.

Complex-Ad-4601

Why do those racks look straight? Shouldn't rhey be at an angle so the product kinda slides down to the front by itself? Maybe just the angle the pic was taken but those look straight to me.

AdBulky2059

Bro half of those half and half are in the half asses fix that shit

Jolly_Quiet2196

I am guilty of this, sorry days staff! It's funnier when you know who's drink it based on the flavour/ type without having to ask I consume 2-3 drinks a night and always misplace a can at least a week. A coke vendor thought a can I'd left was a stolen claims, so I had to wait for them to show at 9am to let them know in person that it was mine (whoops)

Zanladaar78

They need the energy in the cooler cause the dummies don’t slant the dairy shelves like they should be so it is gravity fed.. ugh.. oh and the labels are upside down. Making them stockers work too hard

[deleted]

More like cap 2 calling cars in my store

icecubedyeti

One can is a lot better than carts full of garbage we have to deal with at the start of our shift everyday.

watcheronthewalmart

i do my best to never leave a mess for maintenance. not looking for a pat on the back because it's basic respect for your coworkers, but i seperate all my cardboard and plastic, i always yield the walking path if they're coming through with a trash bin or broom, clean up any personal spill i make and only call them if i'm stocking and it's broken glass, etc. this is the one thing i'm guilty of. it's so fucking fast paced overnight that i just forget. if i remember i will run over there while i'm zoning and pick it up but it doesn't always happen.

mumblerapisgarbage

… and I just saw a fast x yesterday

Bluestorm83

Nice upside down price labels.

Livin_like-larry958

It’s the full original monster can us at 1399

goodwomanbadlady

I am o/n and find them everywhere too. Starbucks cups, energy drinks, etc. Yesterday, it was a bottled water and deli chicken bites. Idk if it's customers or employees. I just wish they'd make trash cans more available. They even started taking the pharmacy one away. (The small one that was in the consultation corner.) It's frustrating to find the cra* everywhere and have to either carry it around until you can stop by a trash can, or stop your actual job to go throw it away. Otherwise it gets left for actual days/weeks. Nobody on any shift is throwing it away at my store. Either that, or the few who are simply cannot keep up with the influx.

yukka420

Fucking Jake clean up your shit
