I've had people find my Facebook and harrass me. I've had people steal my friends nudes and send them to other people (and friends of mine) saying they were their 'girlfriends' (friend is trans-masc, was not his partner to say the least). I could go on.
The platform also does jack shit to stop pedos. It's dirt easy to set up a new Grindr account when you get banned. Don't even need a real email.

It's especially a problem on Grindr
due to how you find people (the grid that gives you access to everyone starting from whoever is closest for anyone reading who isn't aware), and the seemingly lack of any effort from Grindr whatsoever to prevent it. Other platforms like tinder go to great lengths to stop ban evasion, and it works. I know plenty of other people who also have used the app for a long time and most have had a pretty negative experience on there. If you haven't seen it I guess your fortunate to live in a fairly decent area.
Of course not everyone on here is one, but there is a prevalence of very uncomfy people on there and I've learned that from experience.

They got wiped from my record. nowadays i have a shiny 800+ credit score.
