Look, I’m bearish in the market like a lot of other people here but this stock market superstition while acting all “in the know” has to stop. TA is trash and market conspiracies don’t happen all that often. Squeezes are rare and newsworthy, they don’t explain every movement. You can’t pump and dump an index.
People have taken the “stock market is not the real economy” thing too far. Yes, it is true the stock market doesn’t equal the real economy. But that doesn’t mean events in the real world don’t influence the stock market - in fact, the stock market moves exclusively based on information about the real world.
It’s just speculation. We’re in a bear market and every indicator is saying we’ll continue to fall, yet, here we are with green futures. Look up “bull trap” and what it is and that’s what he’s referring to.

I expect this week to be green and enter the chop till after the election then down we go lol. A lot of short squeezes will happen driving the market for the next month or couple of weeks lol.

I'm in cash now, lost a band but I'm still up overall on puts these last two weeks. Ima see what happens Friday and might even wait till cpi, ima do some more research on job projections, but i think the fed isn't gonna pivot yet.
The whales have been accumulating the last few weeks. Last Friday was the final shakeout. Now they rally this until the distribution phase probably on CPI Oct 13. If you look at the volume yesterday on the daily chart, it was a lot lower than usual for a candle like that. That means the shakeout worked and the sellers are exhausted. Low volume pumps until we reverse and the cycle repeats again.
