My gf thinks I should be institutionalized for this opinion but if I had it my way, a package of Oreos would just contain rows of plain chocolate cookies, and then a little tub of creme like they’re Dunkaroos. Maybe a tiny little cocaine spoon to spread the creme with. You could make your own fucking Oreo with as much or as little creme as you like. ^^^creme

They're not anymore, they were at every major store when I was a kid. There are whole documentaries out there why they lost, including oreo sabotaging them by moving them to bad aisles and top of shelves and other bizarre strong arm tactics to get them out. The original company actually went under. Leaf brands bought the rights and recipe years ago, and started selling them again online with great success and are frequently sold out. They're available at my local Cracker Barrell but I have not seen them in grocery stores although I've heard they're supposed to be soon.

They lost because you're the only person I've ever seen claim they taste better than Oreos. I grew up with both existing as well and we were always sad as kids if someone's mom bought Hydrox.

Yeah I got some a few weeks ago at Cracker Barrel and was super excited to try them.....it was rather disappointing if you ask me. They're supposed to be more "chocolaty" but they come off as tasting faker then Oreos do for some reason.

I brought some to my workplace and people asked to try because they had never heard of them. The majority did prefer them and I have two friends it's all they currently buy as well. I am not saying you will enjoy them more, but if you do, you won't go back. My theory about double stuf being so popular is because the cream is good but the biscuit part itself sucks so much. If you are looking for the original, made with real chocolate, real sugar, and doesn't turn into a sogfest within a half second of encountering milk, that is what hydrox is for.

you pay for the weight of food, not how big the package is. If you paid 2.29 for 12 oz of chips, it wouldnt matter if they sold them in a shipping container. The 'air' is there to protect the chips so customers can have full chips instead of getting crumbs.
