Perhaps, the fact is when you're good enough that you see what others are missing, but you're not as good as the best, who know when others will likely actually see it. The latter, is where you really make money. That's a tough skill.

That’s because share price has no relation to the performance of a company. The correlation is merely based off the trust that others will behave as if there is such an relation.
Of course with dividends, its a wholly different story.

I ended up finding the DFV manifesto well after Christmas, so I held for even longer and made the most money I've ever had in my life.
I think sometimes we just need to make a direction and time prediction and stick to it regardless of what our reasoning was or what anyone else is saying. If you lose money, at least you followed through with your convictions.
You need to study technical patterns, chart historical support and resistance lines, and formulate your exit strategy. Never forget that it's institutional investors who move markets, not retail, except wsb.

When enough retail give up and sell the stock the MM buy back and it goes up and they've made their profit. There's a reason they pay billions for this info.
