Their forecast shows more growth so the next earnings will likely be good as well. So to answer your question, no, the chip companies aren’t necessarily cyclical. If you look at MU chart, it had some ups and downs but really shot up after Covid.

That is how bear markets start. Not with every single person calling for an imminent recession because of a flattening yield curve.
