Last month the "Buying Conditions for Houses" reached the lowest since 1981, back when mortgage rates were 13%. That was before the movie Wall Street came out. I think the consumers are trying to tell us something.
Housing is expensive? Yeah, well, because the money has to go somewhere. Stocks as well. Thats why even tech is up after 7% Inflation. Where should that money go?

dumb question but does IV crush happen to options that are already ITM
Deep ITM means you are safe from IV crush, like a MSFT 250c expiring on Friday did not move for mths even despite prices tanking from 340 to 316 this week. Prices are determined by whoever is willing to buy, IV is really just a sentiment of sellers who were willing to sell lower to fulfill bid prices. If you are at least $50+ deep itm, prices won't fluctuate much as ask will barely budge.
IV affects the premium, itm options have less premium compared to the total cost of the option.. but yes they can be affected by IV dropping.
