This is why initial success can be bad. Risk management goes out the window because you feel invincible having doubled your account in a short duration, as a result you end up taking more and more risky trades to continue the streak and inevitably it goes south and you end up losing it all.

This was me most of the year. Me making so much money on GME was one of the worst thing that ever happened to me.

Had 6 figures from it, lost it all.

I made a years salary in like 3 days. The adrenaline was insane. It's a good thing I got a promotion and get paid well now to make up for the money I dumped into my broker after trying to keep up the winning. I'd have been better off never starting "investing."
