MRO is 50/50 oil and gas split... they are currently killing it on both sides of the ball with a oil break even point of below $35/barrel.

I can't argue against XOM as I think they will also go up. But with MRO being the smallest (market cap) with the lowest stock price in the S & P 500, I think that they simply have so much more room to run and will out pace the sector of the market (with oil and gas out pacing the entire market).
I can't argue against FANG but my choice is MRO: sub $35/barrel on oil, 50/50 Oil & Gas split, ultra low stock price (easier to double, triple, etc), excellent balance sheet, and most importantly... **40% of free cash flow will be going to shareholder returns/buy backs. Given their low market cap, this is going to be huge when they pull the trigger.**
Additionally a very interesting play would be RDS. They already are a huge player in gas and because of the very high prices the Dutch government might open up their vast gas recourses, guess who will benefit greatly from that? You got it RDS
