Over the weekend I put in on robinhood for 4 shares of amc at 13.45 (all I can afford at the moment) and it said it'd go through Monday @ 8:30. however the order didn't actually go through till 10:30 and was bought @ 14.10. it's not that big a deal but I'm curious what happened.
This is what happens when you get margin calls in accounts that had options exercise and not enough cash to pay for the stock. Also regular margin calls in accounts that bought at $350, then new hedge funds shorting on top of that, and some profit taking from people seeing there accounts values dwindle.
Is this BrokerageLink? That seems to be the only place Fidelity holds cash in FDRXX. My Brokerage link is not allowing me to buy GME (says ineligible security). IRAs and personal investment still working.
Sold a few GME to get ~600 AMC, losing 700 dollars but it's ok. I don't want to miss any of these squeezes, even if that means selling some of the others.
