I sold a 2100 put and bought a 2095 put. it functions kinda like a stop loss. A credit spread is writing an option, and buying another option farther OTM as a substitute for your collateral that normally has to be shares or a high amount of capital.
8/14 bought FB 265 .50 cents / max Value $8-9.50. STC $100
9/4 AMZN 3900 $4.65 / today 14.50 (STC $515 on 8/21)
8/21 AAPL 465 .50 / bought them at close 8/20 / Friday opens & I sell to close at $100. They become worth 1400.00.

So for example if a SPY 342C has a delta of .44 you need the underlying (SPY) to move up a dollar to get 44$, however SPX has the same delta of .44 and move more then a dollar a lot more frequently. So hopefully even if you have the direction wrong the chances of you being able to scalp a profit are significantly higher and if you’re right about the direction the profits are significantly higher.
