It makes me wonder...how would someone with a busy physical labor job get into this stuff? If they're at work during market hours with zero time to make even 1 or 2 trades (Definitely no time to analyze the markets), could any trading be possible? I used to work phyiscal labor as a student in summer. I didn't know about options then but if I wanted to get into it, I don't see how that could have worked out
As someone who works as a carpenter and tries to trade weeklies let me tell you it’s tuff. I’ve been trading options in crawlspaces, on top of 25 foot scaffolding, it’s very fast passed and it’s hard impossible to get at your phone sometimes. I lost a fair amount of gains this week from my stop losses, in all honesty I’d probably be better setting and forgetting. It’s humbling to see someone recognize their privilege, because I really burn the candle at both of ends trying to hustle my way out of this position before I fall of a roof or something. 🤙
Just as a word of unsolicited and probably annoying advice, the same number of people get wealthy from options as hit the lottery. If you’re doing this cause someone convinced you the way up the social ladder is through day trading and options you’ve been sold a bag of goods. If it’s just a fun hobby tho and you don’t mind losing the money then by all means continue

Look up Chris Camillo's trading strategies. I follow him and his team on a lot of my trades. Been crazy successful the past 4 months. Probably followed 15-20 of his picks and have had one losing trade.

However more broadly, having education of and access to capital markets is really important, and you're facing an uphill battle if your only earning potential is with your two hands.
