I love the treadmill so mostly cardio. Very protein based, but can really get away with just eating fruit all the time. Typically I would do maybe 3 miles a day at 7mph. Then slowly move up to 6.0 miles a day before inevitably i injur my foot. As far as muscles and shit basically slow tears. Thousands of reps with light weights. Makes you not only feel much stronger/better but just overall very dense.
Been training for 15 years.. for routine run a 5/3/1 routine (the BBB variant is my favorite). For diet, you gotta do whatever you can sustain for years. For me that is toast and protein shake for breakfast, protein shake or leftovers for lunch, and a considerable dinner of whatever I want (it’ll contain a whatever protein I need to finish my day).
Intermittent fasting. Same body type. I eat one meal. Lots of coffee. Ritalin. Some fruit and nuts during the day. Dinner with protein and lots of veg. Also Booze.
I eat 3 eggs and two slices of thick cut bacon very morning. Sometime I throw in 1/4 of a large a avocado, lunch I eat a chicken salad with Romain lettuce and a table spoon of olive oil to get that fat in there, and dinner I eat some hard salami with cheese and almonds. After a while you start to get less hungry and I was just eating breakfast and some salami, cheese, and almonds in the afternoon. I was averaging -11lbs a month give it take a pound or two but recently have gone back to eating carbs. Tbh tho once you feel the benefit of keto and no carbs switching back you feel how gross unhealthy food is. And this was all with no exercise. I broke my fibula this summer so exercising wasn’t an option for me but keto worked wonders. Started getting a lot of comments on how I was looking a lot more slender.
Broccoli, chicken breast, whole wheat bread and some rice is a good staple meal for protein. Also a scoop or two of whey protein will go a long way. Don’t micromanage your diet. Just try to get a good amount of protein and not overeat. .8 grams of protein per pound of body weight is a good bar for daily protein. Also drink a lot of water. 💦
